PHX-GSW-KYK Trade Cya A'Mare

PHX-GSW-KYK Trade

Star-divide

The premise is this:  Mike D'Antoni and the Knicks seem to have their man-crush on for Curry.

If GSW is willing to trade some combo of:  Curry, Wright, Biedrins, Bellinelli I'd say there must be something that can be done to flip Curry to the Knicks.   Something that could involve say a sign and trade of David Lee to the Suns.   Yes there are a lot of issues to address such as agreeing to a contract and matching salaries.  But imagine this roster or an appromiation of it next year:

PG: Nash, Dragic

SG: Bellinelli, Barbosa, Tucker

PF: David Lee, Brandon Wright, Amundsun

SF: Dudley, Earl Clark

C: Biedrins, Lopez, + Chandler?

Not back:  JDrunk, Grant Hill, Stomile Swift, Matt "Chucker" Barnes

To me, the line up above is a pretty freaking awesome line up.   I think Bellinelli is really good.   Forget about Curry, Bellinelli can shoot the lights out, he's been lighting up Summer league the past few years but buried behind Monta Ellis on the bench and we all know how Donn Nelson is great at playing young players.

The best thing is we would definitely own the boards with Lee and Biedrins AND possibly Chandler.

Amare would not be Missed!

belinelli starts ahead of barbosa?

you must be out of your mind.

and david lee would start at PF and dudley at SF, i think. it would make more sense, given their skill sets.

Belinelli could start in front of Barbosa

Belinelli absolutely could start in front of Barbosa. You’ve probably seen where the starter isn’t neccessarily the guy who gets the most minutes.

He doesn’t have to play long, but he needs regular playing time.

Rocky

Marco will not flourish under Nellie ball, because Don just throws him out there without any structure:

Marco need’s Nash to show him his place on the court, a guard that he can play off of, this guy can get to the rim and finish, his court vision and passing at times is Bird like:

His jump shot is awesome, but he’s a bit inconsistent, it could be because he has never had a defined roll or consistent min:

He could be the jewel of this trade, I see him as a solid all around player that can play the point if called on at times and with a PG like Nash could learn this game at a high level:

I don’t think he will ever reach that kind of high potential under Nelson. Because he’s to dysfunctional, it’s all helter skelter:

Why not?

If one gets hurt, the other is there. You don’t make sense.

Hi, I am a crazy theorist..............

First and foremost D’Antoni is never parting ways with David Lee. He loves the way he plays and adores his hustle and heart and is NOT going to get rid of him. Second, Curry is going nowhere. Nellie got who he wanted and did not draft him to give to the Suns. The Amar’e deal with the Golden State Warriors is not going to happen because of Curry. If the Suns take a lesser deal then we show yet another reason Kerr should be a season ticket holder and not a contract negotiator. Now I understand that Amar’e may have rubbed some people the wrong way but who cares. We don’t watch the Suns to fall in love with someones personality. Truth about him is that he is a hell of an athlete, an almost unstoppable scorer and a matchup nightmare for anyone in an opposing uniform. He may not be the best defender in the world but everyone that plays great on one end cant play great on the other. it seems like people want him to be a bsaketball god. If he played as good defensively as he does witht the ball in his hands then he would be the best p layer in the world and thats just not realistic. But thats what people want him to be. Can’t just see the guy for what he is. He is an offensive powerhouse. Let it be. Dont trade him away because he can’t block as many shots as Camby or rebound like KG. He scores like Amar’e. isn’t that enough? Can’t expect EVERYONE to be the super all around player that everyone wants him to be. Just not fair. Tirade over.
