This "Trade" just gets more interesting...

This supposed trade just gets more interesting by the hour it seems. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I think if this deal gets done there is a 85% percent chance that it doesn't include Steph Curry. Don Nelson has just preached that they are NOT trading Curry whatsoever. In my opinion I don't do the deal unless Curry is in it obviously but at this point who knows.

What we do know is that nothing can get done until July 1st or July 8th, I'm not sure on the dates. This is troublesome because we all know Curry has been the Darling of the media and the NCAA since the magical run he took Davidson on in 2008. There is no doubt about it that the kid is a player and I would love to have him. But the truth is that the longer this takes, the more in love GSW is going to be with Steph Curry and not want to deal him.

Honestly only time will tell, my only worry is that Kerr gets trigger happy and in an effort to deal Amare because he is scared the money wont match to extend him, that he pulls some trade where we get Biendris, Wright and Belinelli, with no Curry or Randolph. The fact of that happening scares the crap out of me. But what scares me more is if Amare ends up walking for nothing, which more than likely wont happen but who knows if he stays or goes.

We can hold solace that if he does stay he will be playing in a contract year, years in which players usually go bonkers to try and earn that max deal. If that does happen Amare will definitely opt out in 2010 to chase a huge contract. I think the draft and these trade rumors have left more questions that answers on the vision of this team, but I will tell you right now the wait is KILLING me!

He's not lying

He’s probably just a little (ok, a lot) drunk and may not remember what he said, when he wakes up tomorrow.

he likes to talk -a lot -and it doesn’t matter for him is he saying complete true uncomplete true or pure BS

We could probably say the same thing about Kerr

Didn’t he say that Shaq and Porter were sticking around, just days before they got dumped?

by ninjasocks on Jun 27, 2009 4:53 PM MDT up reply actions

asdf

for some reason i believe he enjoys the most when people believe in his words when he say’s absolute BS -he likes to confuse people -that’s the way he stay’s in control

in this case i think he said nothing more than He can unpack his bags and relax -the rest is just overstatment of above

BTW i started believe that all this trade is gonna happen when ESPN was reporting something like: according to sources Nelson is telling to his friends that rumors about this trade is insignificant

Of course

He’d only do that to the fans.

by ninjasocks on Jun 27, 2009 5:58 PM MDT up reply actions

I expect him to lie to us

When you do that to trading partners it completely ruins your credibility and undermines the respect of your franchise.

Here's how Nelson would give up Curry.

If we gave them Steve Nash. It’s as simple as that.

id go curry for nash..people are making a big deal about amare leaving for nothing if he does then we have 17 million dollars more subtracted from the cap..i dont want to take on one young good contract and others that suck just to say we got a good young player

or it might be curry beans beli and wright

nobody knows

Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."

Why do you include Belinelli like he was an asset?

Here’s how you should be writing this: Biedrins Belinelli filler and Wright for STAT

by ninjasocks on Jun 27, 2009 4:54 PM MDT up reply actions

Its for bozos

We gave you Bozo the clown for Amare and you get no Curry. Kerr loved it. We spoon fed him that you would love Bozo so much that he jumped for the deal and now we have all of our players and Amare and Curry and the Suns get Bozo. At least Kerr will have fun filling the arena with Beidrins Bozo and a nobody off of our roster as we become Phoenix west in the Golden State with Curry, Amare, Stephen Jackson, and Monte Ellis and Randolph. Sounds good to us Golden Staters. LOL!

Bozo the clown is on the market? Of course he plays for Golden State, where else?

Trade or no trade, the Suns will still be better than the GS misfits next year.

Who are these guys again?

by ZonaFlash on Jun 27, 2009 2:42 PM MDT up reply actions

No

Sometimes being a Suns fan doesnt allow for me to be a thinker just a doer like Kerr.
