Dear Steve

There is something that can be said for continuity. With all the Suns competitors making so many changes several of these teams will fizzle early and maybe not see the results they hoped for for many months. That means the Suns need to come out hard and get ahead of the pack.

Maybe it is time to just agree that having Amare,Grant,Steve,Rich and Leandro is a pretty strong nucleus  and get on with it. Every one of these have had multiple + 20 games last year so each can play. The bench showed a lot in the last 25 games when they were finally given a chance to play so someone is likely to shine this year.

We just need to get on with getting a big defensive man signed and share the time with Lopez  and I think we could start strong.

In regards to Amare. He is a great player to build around and we should try to keep him or only take somethat the Suns can build their franchise around. While he choses not to play much defence maybe he needs to look at the other great players he wants to emulate. They were not always focussed on defence but they understood defence creates scoring and changed their approach. defense creats fast break opportunities where Amare can shine.There is no way with Amare's strength and physical ability he cannot be a great defender. He just needs to want to become a great defender. 

Sign a centre, get Amare to commit to defending so he can be considered a great player and we will be fine this year.

Lets get on with it so players and fans can focus on the new season.
