G&A saying its a routine procedure.
Should be back to normal 7-10 days. Surgery is a very broad term.

my problem is the "Surprise! I'm having Surgery!" bit
How is that a “Surprise!” as in “Surprise! It’s routine!” or “Surprise! It fluid drainage, a little retinal microfracture and some socket athroscopy!”
Who are these guys again?

He wanted to steal the spotlight
Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."

seriously....is he that stupid! Nice thing about twitter...
we get to see straight on how stupid some of these athletes are….
Amare’s surprise statement is similar to me telling my wife something like
“Surprise…I slept with another woman and she’s pregnant” and be ignorant enough to think she’d be excited about the kid or something…when everyone is focusing on the “more surgery” “she’s pregnant” equivalent thing.
I just think the sooner we get f’**ing anyone else besides Amare, the better…
I love steve nash, he’s been great for us…but we should be trading him for one of these young guards…and change…we should be rebuilding…instead we’re dissolving….
I hate to say this…but it comes down to money
The Mavs and it’s owner has money, and he’s not afraid to spend it to try and help his team (whatever you think of him….and I’m not a mavs fan…you have to like that as a fan)
The Suns are owned by a banker…someone who doesn’t quote “own the suns” but is part of a group of 10+ investors…if I recall….did the suns ever have a chance?
Sad thing is….the success of the suns really can be attained and without having to spend like Cuban….it’s just we’ve been making poor decision after poor decision for so long with a few good decisions to every 3-4 bad ones….that’s our problem…We had a very real chance at winning a title for 2-3 years…that’s long gone in my opinion….I hope I’m wrong on that…would love to be proved wrong.
It’ll be interesting to see how the mavs do with Marion…they’re like the suns from last year…a chance but a lot of age…but probably better chemistry than the suns had.
I remember following marion when he went to miami…it’ll be nice seeing him every night..I’m pushing for the mav’s to get nash now…and use him as a shooter or fast break point guard. Never happen…but it’d be nice.
