Richardson for Brand?
We already know that Philly is looking to move Brand but would they be willing to take Richardson in return.
If the Suns had winning on their mind they would have realized that they could have traded the Wallace contract for Brand's who both would have made about the same amount this year. Instead they pay $10M to buy out Wallace and get nothing in return.
Another thought is trading away Barbosa, recently acquired Pavlovic, and possibly Alando Tucker to Philly for Brand which would probably still put them over the cap. Here are the figures if your wondering.
Richardson- $13,333,334
Tucker- $1,071,720
for
Brand- $14,858,472
or
Barbosa- $6,600,000
Pavlovic- $4,946,250
Tucker- 1,071,720
This deal if Aaron Nelson can get Brand healthy would be an amazing deal and my guess is Phoenix would again be a contender.

Phoenix is a contender now...
I like us as we are, I don’t feel we need to do anything drastic at this point. We have high scoring potential, a solid bench and a good coach that is well received by his team. We’ll have no problems putting up points.
Where we might struggle is at the boards, but Lopez is looking good so far and should keep improving, and I think Frye is going to really do well for us. Plus, Amar’e has something to prove….that he deserves a max contract and that he’s one of the elite in the league. Therefore, I believe he’ll have a monster season.
I think Phoenix will suprise alot of people this season.

As I said in another post ...
I’m starting to feel like the Suns’ rebuild/reload is nearly complete (assuming Amare is healthy and they sign him to an extension). They just need to get a starting quality point guard to eventually replace Nash, and they need one more guy going forward who can be counted on for 15 to 20 points a night. Richardson is that guy right now, but he’s not going to be here permanently. I don’t think the team needs an Elton Brand or a Carlos Boozer, unless they are still going to ship off Stoudemire. I’d love for Barbosa to stay. He’s a great guy and in many ways, the heart of the Suns.
Brand would not be a good fit for us
Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great player when he’s healthy, but we’d have to change our system to integrate him, as we had to with Shaq. To me, it isn’t worth it.
exactly.
brand didn’t fit on the sixers because they ran a slightly fast pace…can you even imagine how horribly he’d fit in here?

No way
Considering that Brand single-handedly destroyed the number 1 fast break scoring offense of 2 years ago, I don’t think he would be good at all for the once again fast paced Suns.
our syste, is up and down like the sixers and brand wasent good in it

what we need is a center
with that in mind why not try and get brook lopez from the new jersey so we could either pair him with robin or have him start at center before robin
They are building around Brook and Harris
No way they trade him
