We already have 13 players for next year
I have seen several posts on here in the last couple days talking about who will get our 13th spot.
Our current roster;
Nash, Jrich, Hill, Frye, Amare
Dragic, Barbosa, Dudley, Amundson, Lopez
Tucker, Clark, Griffin
That is 13, likely the number we will carry for the season. I guess Griffin may not be signed yet, but I can't see us signing some other unproven minimum level guy over him; we would have just taken some euro or sold the pick if we didn't like Griffin.

If someone would have bought the 2nd round pick from us, we would have sold it...
If Griffin stays on the roster this year, he won’t be playing. Why not get someone that can contribute this year.

Taylor Griffin could contribute more than
Dragic or Tucker…..These two get so much credit for nothing. Neither of them are ever going to do anything other than steal money and warm pine. Wake up. Everytime I hear or think about either one of them it turns my stomach. I love Clark but we have plenty of forwards. Why didnt we draft a guy with a REAL shot at doing something at the point in the NBA. Oh yeah, if we did that we would just sell him. Grr

After 3 Summer League games
I can safely say that Earl Clark is going to have a fine NBA career. Maybe not a superstar, but he’s a multi-tool guy who can play/cover a few different spots on the floor.
As for Dragic and Tucker, I can’t speak to Tucker (that’s Phoenix Stan’s Sun-crush), but Dragic has looked good in all 3 of his outings, showing more and more confidence in each outing. This might be overstating his case, but his first step really reminds me of a certain mayor of Sacramento. The kid is fast. Raw, but he’s got skills.

Oh, and Taylor Griffin?
Totally replaceable. He’s a hustler, but I can easily see the organization going in another direction.

Griffin doesn't have a contract
Just b/c he was drafted doesn’t mean he’s going to make the team. In fact I would bet right now that he won’t

Ditch Lopez & Tucker !!
Both of them should be sent on a slow boat to China or at least another NBA team. Hopefully we can get a quality center for them even though that may require bundling this disappointing duo with Sasha and big, bad Ben Wallace.
No insult meant to the very promising Channing Frye – I am very glad he’s here – but the Suns need a quality center and we need one ASAP. I’d love Chris Bosh but don’t see how that will work. I’m also a sworn member of the Carlos Boozer cheering section and think he could put in minutes at both center and forward. Others have raised the prospects of Tyson Chandler, Sean Wiilams and Steven Hunter as possible Suns centers.
All of those potential centers would be solid additions to the Suns roster that won’t screw-up the old budget – except for Bosh.
Steve Kerr & Posse need to make a move along these lines before it is too late.

Chirs Bosh and Carlos Boozer are both PFs.
Chris Bosh is not strong enough to play center, from the looks of his frame. And Boozer is about 6’8, 6’9.
http://themeanderingtruth.evony.com/ ve watched, loved, and rooted for the Suns for half my life! I hate the smug and hypocritical Laker fans.

I think Tucker could be gone he hasent proved too much around draft time i heard there was a lot of interest in Lopez and although Dragic can be real good at times i dont think he should be our back up..I say we trade J-Rich and one of those players for Q-Rich and a future 1st rounder this yr or next

Lol
Are you just trying to throw out another Q-Rich trade just so he can be traded a 5th time since the end of last season?

Let's just work with what we have....
This is a fine roster. I like the starting 5…Frye has potential to put up points in this system. If he can contribute at least 12 points a game like he did his rookie season, we’ll be fine. What we have to worry about is rebounds. I concerned about us getting killed at the boards. Hopefully, Amar’e will return with a mindset of dispelling his critics and will give us solid rebounding. If Frye and Lopez can do the same, we’ll be alright.
The bench with Barbosa leading the way is pretty solid too. I thought it would’ve been better had we kept Barnes, but we do already have lots of forwards. Amudson and Dudley are high energy players and are solid off the bench. Tucker has potential if he gets more minutes. I’d like to see what Clark and Taylor can do. Dragic and Lopez need to be developed more, but with solid bench time, they’ll come into their own towards the middle/end of the season just like they did this past year. Hopefully they will. There’s no reason to believe they won’t, they looked good the last twenty games of last season.
