Around SBN: VIDEO: Austin Rivers' Buzzer Beater Finishes Off UNC

Paul. Stoudemire. James?

I propose the following.

Star-divide

PHX sends S. Nash, J. Richardson to Houston

NO sends C. Paul, T. Chandler to Phoenix

HOU sends T. McGrady to New Orleans

Advantages:

Phoenix: we get Chris Paul. So if we have Chris Paul and Amare Stoudemire, I think there's a legitimate chance LeBron would come to Phoenix if he's headed anywhere. Probably not, but hey, you never know. You could haul someone in with the cap space. But if not, there's still Chris Paul. A legitimate 3rd wheel isn't far off.

New Orleans: they can buy out T-Mac and get cap space. If they're serious about trading Chris Paul and getting cap space, then that's what they'll do.

Houston: Houston gets their bonafide PG that they've coveted since the deadline, as well as a competent replacement for Tracy McGrady, who's out of time.

We turn out like this:

PG Paul/Dragic

SG Barbosa/Tucker

SF Clark/Hill or Hill/Clark

PF Stoudemire/Frye

C Chandler/Lopez

Any doubts about Barbosa can be cleaned up by his 19 and a half PER and his ability to break out given the right amount of minutes and a starting job.

never ever going to happen

If for some reason it was possible why wouldn’t Houston cut us out of the deal and get CP3 and chandler for themselves.

CP3 and Chandler are much better assets then nash and jrich. Even if Chandler’s career is done.

lol New Orleans gets raaaaaaped

Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."

Wow....this is a fantasy land trade.

LOL, this is something that could only be true in the NBA Live games.

Barbosa is a career 6th man

and damn good at it….i dont doubt he has starter talent but some guys are just better coming off the bench….

lol@New Orleans?

so New Orleans get Tracy McGrady for Chris Paul and Tyson Chandler? please stop wasting people’s time.

The only way NO would do that was getting rid of both Chandler and Peja’s contracts, and getting lots of potential plus some picks, besides expirings.
