Daily Links: Where Jared Dudley has something to tell you

The second I saw that JD was on twitter I knew this would turn out well. As I've said many times, Dudley is one of my favorite young players and you just KNEW that he would bring the energy to his twitter game.

If you are not following @JaredDudley619 ...then you are missing out on the Suns best twitter/player. Here's a recent sampling ranging from questioning Mark Cuban (one of our favorite past times) to breaking big shoe news to lobbying to spend more time talking to you...Hey JD, you can come here and chat with Suns fans anytime!

Go show Dudley some twitter love and lets see if we can't have him on our show...

Either Jared Dudley either is hurrendously unproffesional

or that isn’t his twitter account. who would ask to get on gambo and ash through twitter? or who would ask the phoenixsuns twitter account “who runs this?”

not unprofessional at all, imo

Twitter, at its heart, is nothing more than a marketing platform. What JaredDudley619 is doing is simply marketing himself to his “followers” and to media outlets. I don’t find it unprofessional at all: just the networking world we live in now. I think he’s being more playful in his tone than condescending…

We actually had him on our podcast last night. He was quick with his answers and a very well-spoken individual. Great guy.

JD is a tweet machine

He’s breakin all the stories. This was on Hoopshype just yesterday – interview with JD about the tweeting:

You’re one of the most active Twitter users among NBA players. How did you get into it?

JD: It was Shaq. He told us to get into it. Jason Richardson got into it. And one day, I said, "Let me try this thing out." You know, now all my friends are out there hanging out. I talk to Mark Cuban every day on it… It’s just a cool website for fans to get involved in players’ lives. What I try to do is give the fans insight on what they really can’t see. Once the season starts, I’m gonna give them insight on training camp, what’s going on in the locker room, the team bus, hotels and everything.

You’ve even broken news about players like Steve Nash or Matt Barnes. Has the team told you anything about it, that maybe you shouldn’t be talking about stuff like that?

JD: I haven’t had a problem. Everything I’ve said is the truth. I have not put anything out there that’s false or make stuff up. Everything I’ve said, I’ve talked about it with the source. I have credibility. As long as you’re not talking about anything negative… But talking about Steve Nash getting an extension isn’t really bad, so I’m going to continue doing it. For example, next week in Vegas I’m going to talk about the workouts. I’m going to say who’s playing well, how the games are going… Just trying to get more a little more insight for the fans.

Now, why is he talkin to Mark Cuban everyday? Mark’s blog ain’t enough of the big bruha’s opinion? =D

Who are these guys again?

Seriously, both dudley and Amare not to slow the twits and think about the game…They are way too active on that thing. I’m kind of sorry I am following them.

Be sure that in any interview that you ask JD where his exact location is...

… he’d like that, apparently he’s afraid of gettin robbed =D
