Just a quick Poll...
As i've pointed out (probably one to many times) I think the best option for the team is to stand put and play this year out and not worry about extensions or trades (unless a trade in which we get atlest $0.85 on the dollar.) After Gentry took over we had a historically good offense even without Amare. Adding Chandler would help our defense and would open up the paint for Nash.
Nash/Dragic
J-rich/ Barbosa
Hill/ Dudley
Amare, Amundson, Clark
Chandler, Amare, Lopez
I am wondering where everyone thinks we would end up if we have a healthy Amare,a permanent coach in Gentry, and went through with the Wallace for Chandler trade.

I don't know why the Suns are holding back
Just trade for Chandler!
He can really only help our team defensively and even offensively somewhat.
This has been discussed hundreds if not thousands of times on BSotS (Hence why I’m not going into detail).
Just get it done already. Seriously.

Unless he’s as injured as people think (which is why his trade was recinded in Feb). We don’t want to be paying for someone that won’t be able to play. I’d definitely have our doctors ealuating him if I was Kerr.

Get a Center Already
I think that’s a great line-up and would make for an exciting season. We can get a #6 spot with it and have something to look forward to. What about Matt Barnes – is there any room for him in this picture?

Maybe a 8 seed
Maybe, besides Barbosa who off the bench who will scare anyone? That second unit would struggle, we have no idea what Clark will do, and for that matter Lopez and Dragic.
44-38 is what I see.

I would actually ...
Have a starting lineup of …
Nash
Barbosa
Clark
Stoudemire
Chandler
and a 2nd unit of:
Dragic
JRich
Hill
Amundson
Lopez
Give Clark some time to really develop and then move JRich and Hill to the 2nd unit for some punch.

I really think the Suns are going to compete even if they stand pat with the lineup they have. The team doctors are going to do wonders with Chandler, so his health will not be a problem. Also, Dudley, Lopez, Amundson and Tucker came on really strong towards the end of the season and with the addition of Clark, I think the Suns are going to make some serious noise. I don’t think they can compete with the Lakers or Spurs, but they can certainly keep up with the Rockets, Nuggets and Hornets. GO SUNS!!!!!!!

you can't just say...
“oh, the suns medical staff will work wonders with chandler, just like they have time and time again.”
there’s a good possibility, but just to say, oh yeah, don’t worry about it, he’ll be good seems a bit heady to me. there was a reason the oklahoma city trade didn’t go down last year. even if that reason is some sort of “conspiracy theory” or not, he didn’t end up getting traded because of health (toe) issues.
i like our medical staff a lot (everyone in the sports world does), and i have faith in them…but i don’t know. not everyone is 100% fixable.

Rumors
There is an informed rumors that says Wallace-Chandler is surely possible, but Steve Kerr is waiting to get the worst deal possible he can for Wallace’s contract and Pavlovic.
