Even I'm too exhausted to chase everyone who picks us 9th in the West...
I’m going to try and reach a zen place on this.
http://seasonsofdiscontent.com/
Like the Phoenix team of 2004/2005, I think we’re going to surprise a lot of people this year. We have too much talent on our team to not make a big impact in the west. I’m hoping Nash goes for 17PPG with 11APG, Stat goes for 26PPG with 11RPG, JRich goes for 22PPG, and Barbosa goes for 17PPG, 3APG, 1.5SPG. The rest of the guys will more than make up for the rest of the points. The key is for everyone to stay healthy! If they do, then we can go for up to 5th in the west! Go Suns!
I have no idea who they're possibly thinking of putting ahead of us
Lakers, Nuggets, Spurs, Trailblazers, Jazz, Mavericks, Hornets.
And even then the Hornets are pretty questionable.
But wth, that’s only 7 teams. Are they seriously thinking a battered and depleted Rockets team, missing their franchise player for a full season, will be a better team than us???
http://themeanderingtruth.evony.com/ ve watched, loved, and rooted for the Suns for half my life! I hate smug and hypocritical Laker fans.
Clearly GSW is going to leap into the POs!
And if Memphis gets AI, whoa Nelly watch out, Memphis could get its first playoff series win with AI!
Stop blamin' Sarver/Kerr/Shaq/Amare/Stern for a bit. It gets old =D
I was just thinking that!
the Clips are going to magically gain 40 wins next season by adding Blake the Snake Plumber??? Oh I mean Griffin…
Team to watch out for...
Expect the Sonics…err…umm…the team that used to be the Sonics to make a big leap this year. Durant is going to be a top 5 talent, Westbrook will improve, Harden is going to challenge for ROY and Green is solid. Right now I have them finishing 9th in the West but wouldn’t be surprised to see them surprise the league the way the Suns did when Amare was hurt and nobody was really talking about them.
Also, the Rockets got Ariza who is an upgrade over Artest at this point in their careers (and you can bet he won’t be jacking stupid 3’s when he’s ice cold in a win or go home playoff game). McGrady seems healthy (big if throughout the season) and this is a team with a lot of talent who actually match up to a lot of teams better without Yao playing the big anchor and getting run off of the court. I would be cautious in writing them off this season.
Yes, I believe the Suns will be in the playoffs but it’s not going to be the cake walk some are anticipating.
