The Pistons bring back Ben Wallace…. Gotta wonder whether we could have done the same?
Whats up doc?
this was sort of funny
Yeah. I’m up to it, if you’re asking me. Well, I mean, as far as nonsensical quotes go, I don’t know, probably.
for Robin…

ah, gotcha.
i wasn’t sure which one it was. haha.
but, i agree…for robin, who has had a terrible start to his career (as far as interviews go), this one wasn’t too bad.

I like Robin a little more after reading that interview. He’s got a very dry sense of humor that borders on prickish. I like it.
I’m very surprised Kerr didn’t make the list of worst GM’s. Not that I think he deserves to make the worst, but I think on paper, looking at the moves he has made, one could easily think he’s an idiot. But he’s not an idiot. He certainly isn’t in the top 5 or 10 for that matter-the jury is still out, but I think this off season was either a B- or C+, taking into consideration the constraints he’s under and the team he inherited.
The Worst GMs
I don’t agree at all with Sam Presti. The author isn’t realizing at all that Sam Presti basically inherited a lot of junk, a team whose “superstars” were an aging Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis. He’s done a fantastic job of rebuilding that team. It’s been a slow rebuild, but a core of Kevin Durant, Jeff Green, James Harden, and Russell Westbrook should be able to compete for years to come, once they mature.
Not to mention
that he turned Kurt Thomas into 3 1st round picks…Presti on the list made the list not worth paying attention to

Turrible Ten
If Presti, Smith, and Dumars belong on there, so does Kerr. Reasons:
Dumars won a chip
Presti pulled Kerr’s pants down
Smith made a Finals

I guess that was better than some other Ro-Lo interviews, but still kind of strange. I just think he is kind of a weird dude and somewhat socially awkward. Kerr should easily be on the list imo. I’m not here to hate on Kerr, because everyone else does enough of that, but just judging from the record before he came and the record after, the numbers speak for themselves. He tried to change the staple of Phoenix Suns Baskeball, which was his major downfall.
