Training Camp Thread
I figured it would be a good idea to have a training camp thread to talk about what's going on when it happens!
So far, the Suns are inviting veteran point guard Dan Dickau and Summer League team member Carlos Powell to camp in San Diego. Perhaps one of them can compete for a spot on the roster, perhaps in place of Taylor Griffin, or in addition to him as a 14th man. Between the two options, if one makes the team, I believe I'd side with the former because I don't see the Suns having a 14 or 15 man roster...
What do the masses think?

Taylor Griffin
I’m gonna go with T-Griff on this one. The dude’s crazy athletic, and he seems like a good guy. for a man who’s going to play maybe 10 minutes of game time the entire season, I’d like to see him on the floor than the other 2 guys.
i voted griffin
i want my 13th man to have a crazy work ethic and play roughly the same position as the first round pick with high potential and sometimes questioned work ethic.

Dan Dickau would be insurance
Here’s the two sets of numbers to consider:
Dan Dickau at 82games LAC 07-08
Goran Dragic at 82games 08-09
These years selected are recent and have similar utilization (18 to 26%).
Dragic has the upside while Dickau has the experience of course, and in the event of injury Dickau would be dirt cheap insurance.
Taylor is signed, so I don’t see the Suns taking any extra contracts at all.
This season will be even better as long as I'm drinking while watching!
whoops wrong link
that was his career year before CP3 ran the show.
He’s a better shooter and less accident prone, but it’s not really fair to compare a 29 year 5-yr vet to a rookie. Not sure about his defense.

None of the Above?
The poll needs a “none of the above” option. The suns don’t need another SF or PG. We need frickin’ size. And not 6 foot 9 size. We need another 7 footer or two even.
T Griff
will be constant “other brother” stories all year long. I am already sick of them
Fortunately, I think he will be in Iowa most of the year

He will do well there
like Tucker, he will do great in the D league, but it will never translate to the NBA
