Unfortunately, neophyte general manager Steve Kerr was committed to changing the Suns' style to emulate his preconceived notions of what a championship team ought to look like. (My sentiments exactly).

Hollinger
I would like to see what Hollinger says, but I am not an insider.

sorry about that. We shouldn’t have clipped that one

So remind me...
Why is training camp in San Diego? Did they even both to address that during media day? I know it’s not a big deal, but I’ll be damned if this FO isn’t dead set on sending bad messages to the fan base.
"Yeah I could have been king, but maybe I already am king. Hail to the king baby." Ash from Army of Darkness
Should be interesting
The middle does concern me also. I don’t know about 40-42, I think a 46-36 is still possible.
The key it appears this team is happy and is willing and able to run.
yeah, we should wind up at higher than .500.
with our running and gunning, we’ll win games, for sure. doubtful that we’ll do any damage in the postseason, but hey…there are still a lot of question marks out there.

To me...
This whole season hinges on chemistry. If the players can just have fun and trust each other they can be a great team behind Nash, Amare, JRich and Hill. Once the bickering and the “I don’t get enough touches” starts they could be in trouble…hopefully we won’t see too much of that this year.
I agree
If the Suns cant get along they will go nowhere. But if they do like they did when Shawn Marion and Raja Bell were here, they might be a contender for the top 3 in the west.
Good things the Suns are “happy” with not being held accountable on defense again, lol
Congrats Suns fans, you got your perennially unsuccessful run and gun back, woo flippin hoo
Yay for no interior presence and a first round exit! lol

its one thing to talk about defense...
I don’t know what will actually translate over.
This season will be even better as long as I'm drinking while watching!
I don't think
I’ve ever seen that word spelled that way

Perennially unsuccessful?
My bad, I thought teams who year after year were fighting for a championship and consistently making it to the second round of the playoffs and beyond were considered successful. No we never won the chip, but it’s not like we weren’t close – had a few bad breaks gone differently, who knows? Only 1 team can win a ring each season and to be in the top 4 has to be considered a success on some level…just ask a Grizzlies fan.
PS, last season we had an All Star interior presence and look where that got us.
All this optomism...
I just remember last time at this year everyone was saying the same thing…well there were different people and they were saying some different things but you get the point
Until I see it on the court and I see how this team reacts to getting beat….

I'm concerned that they are glibly talking about a 1 or 2% improvement in FG% allowed
as if that were an easy thing to achieve. Excluding the suns, the league ranged from 43 to 48% FG%. Thats asking for 20% to 40% improvement.
This season will be even better as long as I'm drinking while watching!
The improvement range is big
because no one knows quite what to expect from Earl Clark. I think he has All-Star potential, but he just as well could be another Fat lazy Boris

I don't think he will be fat
but he could be Darius Miles
