With word coming today that Bruce Bowen is hanging up his knees shoes we bring you this trip down memory lane.
In honor of Bowen's "tenacious" play go out and knee someone in the testicles today. Or at least given them a little reach around smack...

He'll probably be back midseason, unfortunately
Stop blamin' Sarver/Kerr/Shaq/Amare/Stern for a bit. It gets old =D
If so
we get to post this video again :)
I really like the one when Boewn kicked some dude in the face when he was closing out… can’t remember who the victim was though.
Nice mockery of Wally Szczerbiak’s name.

I guess David Stern didn’t think the kick affected ticket sales.

That would be
the coolest underground contest ever!

You just never know
who’s reading this things….I don’t want to get fined by Stu Jackson!

you probably will...
I think your next step is to submit a formal apology press release to ESPN and delete your twitter account. I know you didn’t say anything bad on Twitter. Just do it.
I certainly
didn’t tweet anything was to the benefit of ESPN so clearly I am in violation of all kinds of policy today

Hold on a moment. I don’t like President Obama either, but I keep it to myself, because saying anything political, especially politically incorrect—is the easiest way to enrage people and get yourself verbally beaten up. Let’s discuss the Phoenix Suns.

Good riddance
though I have this sneaky suspicion he will be back for SA sometime in the next year. The SOB….
Go read a book!
I always thought Manu Ginobili was worse, because ever since I saw him knee Stoudemire in the groin specifically to avoid contact on his way to the hoop, Ginobili has struck me as a coward.

Yes
he displays his cowardice on a regular basis by driving into the lane and inviting contact from much bigger players…
come on, seriously. He flops. He’s balding. But Manu is no coward.

Bowen also got Amare
Remember that breakaway where BB kicked STAT in the heel? The Spurs knew they couldn’t win that series on talent, they had to resort to thuggery. I also remember Ginobli grabbing Amare as he crossed midcourt on a fast break, allowing a Nash pass to float harmlessly out of bounds.
All of the above was before Horry’s infamous hip check. Whoever stopped Raja from rearranging CheapDhot’s face should be banned from the league, or at least suspended for conduct detrimental to the team.

Bowen's worst habit...
Besides kicking a shooter in the face was sticking his feet under a dude while he was in the air. As a player who depends on being in the air a lot for my game I ABSOLUTELY HATE dudes that do this. Him doing that was the same as him blatantly saying that he hopes his opponents get injured – there is no other reason for it. I’m all for the occasional tug on the jersey or extra bump when they’re trying to go around screens but crap like that pisses me off to no end and I especially hate how the media paints him as a good guy who’s just competitive…good guys don’t try to purposely hurt people! Good bye Bruce, I hope we never see you on the court again.

yes.
I agree, as someone who also enjoys sailing through the air, and as someone who has twisted/sprained ankles more times than I can count, this is the worst. My ankles are fragile and to try to take them out is just….not cool.
Good riddance to Bruce, the Spurs just got a little closer to actually being the classy team everyone seems to think they are.
As someone who's had a lot of twisted ankles
from nothing other than trying to change direction while running … I feel no sympathy for you airborne types. I’m going to go out and buy extra-big shoes to stick under your elevated feet.
Mmmmm ... Guinness
