I liked it, but ...

comic strips don’t usually have intros. I think you’re giving too much away in the beginning/intro, to the detriment of the third frame.

Mmmmm ... Guinness

Yeah...

I have tried to just put a teaser in the intro in previous comics but the last few it seemed that viewers weren’t able to piece them together…especially if they just casually follow the Suns so I tried to give a little more up front in this one to see if it got a different (better) reaction.

I'd suggest no spoon-feeding

Sometimes someone picks up on something you didn’t notice.

Sometimes you’re not properly targeting your audience.

Sometimes people are dumb.

Also, there are differences between background, context, teasers and previews.

Alright...

It’s all been removed except for the “Welcome to Box n’ 1…” line

All last season...

I was comparing this team to the Major League movie. We had promise but it just never came out. And during that time, I was constantly comparing Amare to Charlie Sheen’s character (Rick Vaughn). I compared the two because Amare had his head in his ass and let his ego and other things get in the way of just going out on the court and letting his talent do the work. But now this dude REALLY is Wild Thing with the glasses.

This comic strip continues to be great. Its always fun and always says exactly what we’re thinking.
