“Alvin Gentry will move Stoudemire back to Center, where he played prior to Shaq coming to town and parking in the paint, and run. Earl Clark–the last of the lottery selections–is projected to start at power forward and should flourish in an uptempo system.”
Wow, I never heard this as a fact. Sounds like one man’s opinion.

I haven’t heard this either. Everyone else has been saying that Clark is projected to be what Shawn Marion was.
I hope Stoudemire doesn’t play center, because it’s not his position and he never wanted to be a center. The thing is, unless the team has more confidence in Robin Lopez than I do, there isn’t really another candidate for center other than Lou Amundson, who would be undersized. Channing Frye is not a center either.

Hope you’re right Will.
Earl is no Larry Bird.
Putting a rookie in the starting line up does involve risk. However he may find a helpful and benevolent “step brother” in Nash.
What am I more sure of? MUST start LB. L et’s go SUNS!!!!

Earl Clark our starting power forward? That’s exactly the lineup that I want, but I thought that that hadn’t yet been established as our opening day lineup.
