Why not? Contracts match-up perfectly. They desperately need a shooter and we desperately need a defensive stopper. Battier is so versatile that he can guard  anyone and play any position from SG-PF; he can shoot the three too.

I would prefer to trade J-Rich, but we all know that won't happen. I believe Barbosa will get out of his funk, but we need a defensive stopper more than his scoring.

We were an average team defensively under Coach D because we had guys like Marion and Bell who were all capable stoppers. Now we don't have any of those guys and its hurting our team. We are allowing 107ppg with just a 2 point differential! From the years 04-07 we were allowing 102ppg with an 8 point differential. We need to get a defensive stopper.

With Lopez's improvement I think that has taken our need for a defensive big-man. We still need a perimeter defender though. A guy who can gaurd the Kobe's and Lebron's of the NBA. So, what do you guys think?
