Phoenix Suns Rally, Fall Late To Nuggets, 138-133

Stay connected for news and updates

It was a bad game. It was a blowout until late in the fourth, hand-fed by the Phoenix McSuns to the Denver McNuggets.

And then the Suns saw an opening and almost, nearly jumped through it.

And then they didn't. And the Nuggets walked away with a thrill-less victory. Thrill-less because they barely held on to win, on the 3 and a 1/2 quarter shooting of a player you can't possibly count on two games in a row (JR Smith).

Boxscore:

Final - 11.28.2010 1 2 3 4 Total
Phoenix Suns 18 39 32 44 133
Denver Nuggets 31 37 37 33 138

Complete Coverage >

Player of the game: Jason Richardson (39 and 10!)

Second-unit player of the game: Earl Barron (4 pts, 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block in only 10 minutes!!)

Start Earl Barron! He will turn the season around...

I would post a bunch more analysis, but I'll leave that the commenters. The Suns looked the same, to me, as they have all year: waiting for the other team to miss jumpers and really surprised when they don't miss.

Oh well.
