  • Old wine almost never turns to vinegar. It spoils by oxidation.

"Aging" A lot of people are afraid to hear this words. We can sum all the reasons behind it but still we can’t quantify it. It is a process of life, a way of nature and a sign of our mortality. Once the music hit the fade note, it’s time. And eventually we’ll die.. In life you have to chose the door you wanted to enter. And as you age you will learn that life is not about what you achieved, but it is about what you’ve learned.

As grapes started to ripen, you know that your five years of waiting is over. Harvest time is near and eventually with pride you will make the best wine in the world. You needed a yeast to turn a grape into a wine. Yeast consumes the sugars found in the grapes and converts them into alcohol. It does not happen overnight so be patient.

"Age is something that doesn't matter, unless you are a cheese"

No no no.! After talking about wine. I won’t talk about cheese, Ok? Haha.

Anyways, A few weeks back I read a recap about Suns and Wizards game.

Shaq and Stockton is now included. Kareem is still awesome per 36 minutes

[NBAD] The Power Of 90s mix: Larry Johnson,Shawn Kemp & Karl Malone (via DaMnShOw3)

I’m kinda impressed by the players at the table. We know that Kareem has a 34 ppg/16reb season. We know that Michael averaged 30.1 ppg in 1072 games. We know that Stockton averaged 10.5 apg on his career. We know they are good but knowing they are still good at the age of 38 is damn better. Not all good players can play this kind of Basketball. They are like wine that despite of years have passed, it is still excellent. In fact, other wine makers are claiming that as the wine become older the taste become better, I don’t know if it is true. Well, maybe Grant Hill is like that wine. After all those injuries he is still in the top15 forwards today. And he is playing his best season as a Sun. And this season he has a chance to be on the elite company of NBA greats.

I will leave you with some quotes about wine and age

"Age is not a particularly interesting subject. Anyone can get old. All you have to do is live long enough."

"To remain young while growing old is the highest blessing"

"We don't grow older, we grow riper"

"Men do not quit playing because they grow old; they grow old because they quit playing."

"I'm not interested in age. People who tell me their age are silly. You're as old as you feel."

"Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young."

When we drink, we get drunk. When we get drunk, we fall asleep. When we fall asleep, we commit no sin. When we commit no sin, we go to Heaven. So, lets all get drunk and go to Heaven.

Alonso of Aragon was wont to say in commendation of age, that age appears to be best in four things,—old wood best to burn, old wine to drink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read.

The rich want good wine, the poor, plenty of wine

"Reality is an illusion that occurs due to a lack of wine."

It is well to remember that there are five reasons for drinking: the arrival of a friend; one's present or future thirst; the excellence of the wine; or any other reason.
