WHAT THE SUNS NEED IS ....
The first thing I have to say is that this is not the typical fanpost about trades.
For some time I ask myself this question: What the Suns need to win a championship? Who knows !!
The main protagonist of the rumors in recent weeks is Carmelo Anthony. Can the Suns make an effort to get him? In theory, yes; the Suns have more or less what the Nets have, that is, an expiring contract (Carter), first-round picks, and other good assets, Childress, Warrick ...
Denver is a team with problems; their All Star player wants to leave. This, in practice makes them a rebuilding team. If Carmelo doesn’t sign an extensión, then is probably that both Nene and JR Smith doesn´t sign either. In that scenario I think that the Suns should make a strong push to get both Carmelo and Nene; in this case we should include a big. Why not a trade Nene and Carmelo x expiring (Carter) + Robin + Childress + first pick and cash if necessary? It´s an option to improve the team, but there are many others.
I don’t believe that Dragic was the future starter point guard of the Suns, so I think is time to make an effort in order to get an All Star point guard; I'm thinking in Chris Paul. Is the NBA selling the franchise? Is there any chance?
Many fans think that what the Suns need is a PF; Who? Josh Smith? He is a good defensive player, but can we add him without losing too much?
As you see, there are many options to improve the team; what is your choice?

See the B-I-S-"-chain-pic directly above where you type in the reply box?
Highlight the text you want to put the line through (called strikethrough) and click the S with the line through it and it will add the html code to the beginning and end of the highlighted text.

The Suns need...
a marketing makeover and perhaps a new mascot.
The ownership, front office, coaching and players on the court are all top-notch, super-classy, way experienced and uber-talented. I fully expect the team to shake off the cobwebs and newness of the recent genius trades and start thumping all comers.
Cosmetic trades to bring in new names will buoy the fanbase and keep the sports journalist and blogger keyboards’ crackling, but this team needs none of it, since Steve Nash is on the job. The Suns are poised to go all the way, baby!

STAT may be gone but the Suns will rise....! BTW, I'm thankful!
Bring back the old collars? Or do you want to add pinstripes?

How about horizontal pinstripes?
Just cause they’ve never been done before.
You can get with this, or you can get Gortat.
Nah. They make your butt look fat.
And Siler can’t afford that.

Let me see if I can translate.
The Suns need a marketing makeover and perhaps a new mascot a time machine to get back Amare and last year’s Dragic/Lopez.
The ownership, front office, coaching and players on the court are all top-notch, super-classy, way experienced and uber-talented wankers, except for Nash and Hill. Aaron Nelson is good too. Gentry is meh.
Cosmetic trades to bring in new names will buoy the fanbase and keep the sports journalist and blogger keyboards’ crackling are awesome. Melo to PHX!
but this team needs none of it, since Steve Nash is on the job pulling his hair out. The Suns are poised to go all the way amuse us and win a 35-40 games, baby!
How’d I do?

I'm going to start collecting 2Nashty's comments, and run them through the spell checker.
Then, I’ll put them in a post with the first suggestion the spellcheck comes up with. That should be fun!

OMG YES.
DO THIS. I guarantee it would be the most rec’d post ever.
Omaha's Christmas List:
Anthony Tolliver to get healthy and resume doing this (see picture).
The Suns to go on a tear with their new parts.
A healthy Green Bay Packers team for a deep playoff run.
Gregory Echenique to become the love-child of Charles Barkley and Dikembe Mutombo.
Bubba Starling to say "Screw baseball" and head to Lincoln to take Taylor Martinez's job.
Wha tis scary is that it might actually make sense...
STAT may be gone but the Suns will rise....! BTW, I'm thankful!
Agreed.
