Trade idea - Camby to the Suns

The Suns could really use Camby and I have a trade they might like Marcus Camby for Josh Childress/Gani Lawal (Phoenix might need to add something for salaries to match). For Portland.. Josh Childress isn't exactly a rookie (27), and his stats are down this year, but it's misleading. The Suns have way too many small forwards and his minutes have been lost in the shuffle. He's shooting a good % however (57), and has been a great all-around type of player. He scores without the ball, runs out on the break, plays very stellar defense, and rebounds. Seems to be a great character guy as well. He's being paid 7 Mil till after the 2015 season, so it's a lot of years but I'd say it's a good value contract; easy to flip, and by the time he's 32 you're off the hook. So you basically get his prime years. Gani Lawal is a rookie. His teammate in college was a lottery pick this last year, I forget who it was exactly. But Lawal was like a junior or senior, and was the teams #1 option in the post and best rebounder. He was called a potential big steal in the draft. He doesn't have star potential, but he was a great rebounder in college and had scoring ability. He's also a great guy. He's in the DLeague right now (hasn't played for the Suns this season) For Phoenix: We would finally have a legit rebounder, a settled rotation, and maybe most importantly, could move Hedo to SF where he belongs. C: Lopez - Frye PF: Camby - Warrick - Hedo SF: Hill - Hedo - Dudley SG: JRich - Dudley PG: Nash - Dragic Dudley would be forced to play the 2 a lot more, but that's not so bad. Not as bad as Hedo playing the 4, that's for sure. The move might actually be to start Frye here, and bring Lopez off the bench. That way the starters can get some floor spacing.
