I'd just like to express my man love for lou...
…he’s so dreamy. Oh and his hustle is fantastic, the plays he makes are not only crucial and full of heart but they’re the kind that get the crowd into the game.
Lou Amundson – underappreciated by everyone outside of the Suns.
Man crushes are only allowed on Tuesdays!!!!1

Good effort on the glass and defense in the 1st half. However, Gentry went with that zone for a bit too long. We need to start hitting some shots. Our energy is there, but we look rusty on our offense.
Rusty is an understatement...Looked like the Suns circa 2003-2004

One thing that concerns me....
Kobe only has 4 shots and they lead by 7. You have to think Kobe is going to put up some numbers before the night is through….
With the Lakers & Suns...its the opposite..
When Kobe goes off, the Lakers usually lose…When his teammates share the wealth, the SUns are in trouble…

Lopez has no rebounds. I think that is a big problem. We really need him to step up in the 2nd half. Either that or bring back Collins.
Collins!!! He needs to play!!
We could always bring Earl Clark in!!

quick question...greatest Laker of all-time
a)Magic
b)Kobe
c)West
d)Kurt Rambis
I know it sounds bad
but I honestly have no confidence in this game…If Derek Fisher is getting into the paint on a regular basis then this game isn’t salvageable.
I hate being the negative nancy.

To me, this was always one of those
“That’d be swell if they won, but they’re not gonna win” type of games.
+1
We know we’re not a championship contending team like the Lakers are and I would like to think that we’re all honest enough to admit that in a 7 game series we’d probably only win a maximum of 2 games.
Tonight we started really well but we’re struggling. Personally, I’m just hoping it’s not a blowout.
15 point game

All of them.
I don't know what it is about the Laker organisation but I just hate everything about them...

Vujacic - called the machine because of his work ethic.
The same work ethic which is only displayed for 4-8 minutes a game because he is lacking in talent.

Lamar Odom....
….unbelievably frustrating. He is not someone you’d want to go into battle with but he’s a nice addition to a good team. I think he’s perfect on the Lakers but he must make Kobe and Phil pull their hair out with his erratic play.
He should be urinating all over Lou but he’s not.
to a good team
You’re right about that. He, being added to an average team, will not make any improvements because of his inconsistent play. He’ll show more below-par games than good ones.
don't know he plays well when kobe is not playing and he was a stud with the heat and Wade
I think he plays better with a bigger role
a real testament to Scott Skiles...
he holds his players accountable for missing defensive assignments and not sharing the ball by yanking players and frequently slapping them with DNP-CD’s
yeah signing Ilyasova for like 3 bucks was a really, really god under the radar move...
he is literally like lou amundson if he could shoot threes and had a decent handle
kobe barreling into the lane...
every time i see j-duds guarding someone good it makes me cringe even though he does a surprisingly good job…
pretty miss by Rich! pretty putback by LOUUU!

poor Lopez!
I hate to say it, but I feel dazed when I look at Lopez’s performance. Bynum has absolutely kicked his * on the boards, hasn’t he?
yeah nice in theory but the problem is... whose minutes are you cutting?
there are 96 minutes to go around at the 4 and the 5 between frye, stat, lou, collins, and lopez…. how do you distribute those minutes?
agreed... i am a big fan of coaches yanking guys who aren't giving good defensive effort...
could use collins and lou as a chip to get frye to play better D
Lou and Collins are playing out of their skins right now.
Clearly an anomaly performance form Jarron but loving it. The two charges he got called against his man were things of beauty.

The NBA and David Stern made me hate Lebron with their over-selling of him.
Dude turned 24 and what did Sternbot do? He dedicated 24 hours to him. Too much.
Hmm...not sure I agree.
I don’t think it’s him I hate more what the NBA is promoting. They are just being blatant about it – ‘here is our next superstar, we’re going to tell you he;s the greatest ever, overexpose him and feed you lebron on a drip all day every day’. Dude is phenomenal, no doubt about it but due to Stern’s overkill, I’m now growing to despise LBJ.
Can't believe that game just happened.
Man, I don’t think I could hate the Lakers more than I do right now. They walk around with such an air of invincibility and ownership, like they deserve the bullsh*t calls and look at other teams with disgust. Fair enough, they’re the current NBA champs and with that comes a certain swagger but their swagger is over the top. They breed hatred from opposing fans, not admiration.
My Mavs
are much better than them. Dirk and Jet Terry (UofA pride, I served my Mormon mission in Tucson!) will rain 3s on the sucky Fisher and Farmar and Haywood and Dampier can outmuscle those clowns Bynum and Gasol. I like Lamar Odom though. He’s a pretty cool cat.

Not to be rude but that statement doesn't make us feel any better. Also...We hate the Mavs too.
"I don't care what people think, people are stupid."-Charles Barkley
Dallas is a team right now and a scary one at that.
You’ve got mad depth, Dirk is playing out of his skin and JKidd is balling like it was 1996 all over again. You’re a scary, scary proposition for any team and I’d actually rather play the Lakers than Dallas in the playoffs.
I wouldn't....
If you think the Lakers were getting all the calls in this game imagine a playoff setting. David Stern would nuke a small country in order to get a match up Lebron/Kobe in the finals.
"I don't care what people think, people are stupid."-Charles Barkley
Typical Suns' Game
We come out blazing in the first quarter and go up by double digits, come out slow in the second quarter and blow the lead and go in trailing. We match play through the third and fourth quarter and take a small lead or are only down by one possesion. We then never get big calls, miss shots when it counts get another chance off of a turnover or a missed shot and then give the ball up with a turn over or a stupid mistake.
Suns Basketball…We wont get blown out but we will rip out your heart on a nightly basis and feed it to you.
"I don't care what people think, people are stupid."-Charles Barkley

we really couldnt hit a three to save our lives

Why punish Frye for throwing a punch if you’re not going to punish a referee that allows Gasol’s face smashing, Bynum’s slamdown and Odom’s pushing Lou to the crowd .

Seem's like this loss really deflated everyone...
It’s okay though…I know t he first quarter got our hopes up but it’s not a big deal to lose to the Lakers…
We get a night off and have a fairly easy game in New Orleans…(Although Collinson and Thorton are two scary ass rookies), we then get a gimme with Minnesota then get to get some sort of redemption in playing Utah again….
The the rest of the Month is a banged up Portland Team, The D-League audition team in Golden State, The Knicks, Minnesota again, Chicago, and New Jersey….If we play like we’re supposed to we could EASILY go 8-1 or 9-0.
"I don't care what people think, people are stupid."-Charles Barkley
Agree, this loss is not devastating.
The Utah game is a must win though. That I can say with certainty.
Yes to try and get homecourt against the Jazz and just for some confidence.
