I'd just like to express my man love for lou...

…he’s so dreamy. Oh and his hustle is fantastic, the plays he makes are not only crucial and full of heart but they’re the kind that get the crowd into the game.

Lou Amundson – underappreciated by everyone outside of the Suns.

Good effort on the glass and defense in the 1st half. However, Gentry went with that zone for a bit too long. We need to start hitting some shots. Our energy is there, but we look rusty on our offense.

One thing that concerns me....

Kobe only has 4 shots and they lead by 7. You have to think Kobe is going to put up some numbers before the night is through….

by Jack Frost on Mar 12, 2010 8:20 PM MST reply actions

With the Lakers & Suns...its the opposite..

When Kobe goes off, the Lakers usually lose…When his teammates share the wealth, the SUns are in trouble…

Yea, but we haven’t shot the ball well and are only down by 7, so they better look out.

Lopez has no rebounds. I think that is a big problem. We really need him to step up in the 2nd half. Either that or bring back Collins.

I know it sounds bad

but I honestly have no confidence in this game…If Derek Fisher is getting into the paint on a regular basis then this game isn’t salvageable.

I hate being the negative nancy.

We know we’re not a championship contending team like the Lakers are and I would like to think that we’re all honest enough to admit that in a 7 game series we’d probably only win a maximum of 2 games.

Tonight we started really well but we’re struggling. Personally, I’m just hoping it’s not a blowout.

Lamar Odom....

….unbelievably frustrating. He is not someone you’d want to go into battle with but he’s a nice addition to a good team. I think he’s perfect on the Lakers but he must make Kobe and Phil pull their hair out with his erratic play.

Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."

Sometimes

it’s said Commish Stern loves the Lakers or something “outlandish” like that.

I like to think I'm fair in my views and am always honest and balanced...

….this game is a pile of donkey c*ck and the refs should be ashamed of themselves.

Can't believe that game just happened.

Man, I don’t think I could hate the Lakers more than I do right now. They walk around with such an air of invincibility and ownership, like they deserve the bullsh*t calls and look at other teams with disgust. Fair enough, they’re the current NBA champs and with that comes a certain swagger but their swagger is over the top. They breed hatred from opposing fans, not admiration.

My Mavs

are much better than them. Dirk and Jet Terry (UofA pride, I served my Mormon mission in Tucson!) will rain 3s on the sucky Fisher and Farmar and Haywood and Dampier can outmuscle those clowns Bynum and Gasol. I like Lamar Odom though. He’s a pretty cool cat.

Dallas is a team right now and a scary one at that.

You’ve got mad depth, Dirk is playing out of his skin and JKidd is balling like it was 1996 all over again. You’re a scary, scary proposition for any team and I’d actually rather play the Lakers than Dallas in the playoffs.

by keify34 on Mar 12, 2010 9:38 PM MST up reply actions

I wouldn't....

If you think the Lakers were getting all the calls in this game imagine a playoff setting. David Stern would nuke a small country in order to get a match up Lebron/Kobe in the finals.

Typical Suns' Game

We come out blazing in the first quarter and go up by double digits, come out slow in the second quarter and blow the lead and go in trailing. We match play through the third and fourth quarter and take a small lead or are only down by one possesion. We then never get big calls, miss shots when it counts get another chance off of a turnover or a missed shot and then give the ball up with a turn over or a stupid mistake.

Suns Basketball…We wont get blown out but we will rip out your heart on a nightly basis and feed it to you.

it's true...

after games i usually go down to the senior center and scream at and hit the elderly….
they love the interaction and it allows me to vent….

Seriously

Why punish Frye for throwing a punch if you’re not going to punish a referee that allows Gasol’s face smashing, Bynum’s slamdown and Odom’s pushing Lou to the crowd .

Seem's like this loss really deflated everyone...

It’s okay though…I know t he first quarter got our hopes up but it’s not a big deal to lose to the Lakers…

We get a night off and have a fairly easy game in New Orleans…(Although Collinson and Thorton are two scary ass rookies), we then get a gimme with Minnesota then get to get some sort of redemption in playing Utah again….
The the rest of the Month is a banged up Portland Team, The D-League audition team in Golden State, The Knicks, Minnesota again, Chicago, and New Jersey….If we play like we’re supposed to we could EASILY go 8-1 or 9-0.

Agree, this loss is not devastating.

The Utah game is a must win though. That I can say with certainty.
