Starting to become a big fan of Goran Dragic.Any more info. to give me?

Hi there.I've watched a LOT of SUNS games this season and more and more Goran Dragic is grabbing my attention.

He plays so much like Steve! Becides, they look alike from certain angles.

Now I'm keen on obtaining information about HIM. Would you guys do me a favor?

Anything is appreciated, links, profile, articles, etc. ANYTHING about GORAN DRAGIC!

Thanks.

PS:Nice to meet you all, SUNS fans. I myself is a fan from China, which renders me not so familiar with he community here. I really need ur HELP!

Welcome!

Glad you are starting to take a liking to Dragic…He’s had one heck of a turnaround since last season, and has become a very capable back-up for us.

Goran is a very talented pg in his own right, but I don’t personally think his style is much like Nash’s…He has his own, and I think he plays better when he’s just being himself.

Goran “The Dragon” Dragic is arguably one of the most athletic players on our team (according to Gentry and teammates), which is saying a lot being that this roster has players such as J-Rich and Amare as well. He is also the second fastest/quickest player next to LB, and is a very good shooter and passer as well.

Goran’s skills may be overlooked by most media outlets mainly because he is playing on the same team as a back-up to the best pg of this generation. He’s only in his second season after barely getting accustomed to the NBA pace and style of play last season. I think he will continue to improve over the next few seasons and I see him as having a tremendous upside…I believe Goran will eventually become a bonafied “star” in his own right in due time.

Thanks, and more

Thanks 7footer
I’ve got exactly the same prospective as you have of G Dragic and I’m looking forward to his great career!
The question regarding ur reply is that actually this is not the information I want. What I need is more about his profile, such as nationality(Slov. Which I already know), his previous career, NBA observers’ comments on him, etc.
I’d like to introduce this kind of information to Chinese fans.
So, if u DO have this kind or have access to this, PLZ lend me a hand.
Anyway, I appreciate ur help.

Sure...

The best link you will find about his background and such is probably Wikipedia. On this site, you can find further links as well to his former teams and stats and such. Have a dig through here and see if this helps…

Are you sure he plays like Nash? I thought his style was different.

Goran

on a personal note is a great young man. Very friendly and outgoing. His English is good as is his Spanish from having played in Spain before coming here.

He works very hard on his game and while he struggled adjusting last season, he’s done very well and fits in great on the team. He’s well liked by his teammates and coaches.

Just today, Coach Gentry called him a “tough kid”

Be sure to read through his answers when he visited on this site for a live chat just a few weeks ago:
