Go Suns!!!
We all want to fall in love. Why? Because that experience makes us feel completely alive, where every sense is heightened, and every emotion is magnified. Our everyday reality is shattered and we are flying into the heavens. It may only last a moment, an hour, or an afternoon, but that doesn't diminish its value, because we are left with memoriesthat we treasure for the rest of our lives.

Amare has 25 straight free throws made
w/o a miss
and I was in line in at the media buffet behind Jon Barry….he and Wilbon are here b/c ESPN is covering Sunday’s game. And not, I didn’t punch him in the neck

Damn right Gorilla Game !
Amare is playing like a true Superstar. If he keeps this up he may challenge that status. Now he is just on the borderline between All-Star and Superstar. If he keeps this up we may be looking at a Superstar — and Superstars get max money !
He grab so many rebounds but the guy is a whiny jerk, whenever i watch their games
He complains so much
Boozer is quite ineffective when matched against a 7 footer

Goran is smaller than nash
goran is better defensively but I don’t think he would do too well on deron even though I dont expect him to be too physical with all his injuries

I was watching Barbs in that 2nd quarter and I thought he played well. He didn’t get to take a shot, but he was hustling and trying to play defense and only looking to take good shots.
Everyone in our startng lineup has atleast one block :o

They have no depth up front
Okur left the game w/ a “stomache virus” and won’t return. Fresenko w/ 5 fouls. Milsap has 3. And Boozer with 2. That’s all they got left

We should be burying them with their 30% shooting
it seems that our TO problem has given them more shot opportunities and a greater chance to get back at this game.
Ouch was that retaliation?

Ha! not entirely true...but I don't like playing this team. They have such an ability to clamp teams down and when you look at the stats, they're not playing well but yet they're still hanging around on the perimeter.
Oh yeah, plus our previous form of blowing big leads has me concerned still.
Frye is throwing up any and every shot he gets a chance at

9 blocks?!
What the what?
Other surprises from the box score:
*D-Will 4-14
*Nash in single digit assists.
*The man still hasn’t been paid.

LOPEZ is playing GREAT. He’s fighting for boards and playing good defense. He’s contesting every Jazz layup.
Robin already has double-doubles 16-10

We've done a really good job so far of every time the Jazz cut the lead to 12-14, we push it back to 17-19.
Admittedly, the jazz are not playing up to their normal standard but still, credit us for our resilience.

Williams's shooting
Isn’t DW’s 4-14 shooting the difference in this game? If he were, say, 12 of 14, it would be close.
whats with nash's To's?
Phoenix with 19 To’s isnt good but then i guess nor is the jazz’s 30% shooting lol
TOs vs. defense
Jazz with 17 more shot attempts… and 5 more misses than the Suns. Ouch.
Twitter: @MikeLisboa
wow make that 6 TO's
whats going on with nash, appears as tho hes struggling with his dribble, usually the opp struggles badly to steal it off him. maybe someones whos actually watching a telecast can explain it to me
inbounds pass straight to amar'e for the uncontested dunk.
Camera was on sloan as the play unfolded and he sat looking on, open mouthed.
There are a lot of things I dislike about sloan but his evident anger and likelhood that he could beat up all his players, makes me admire him.
J-Rich you gotta make that!
Nash shows you that kind of love, you gotta give him the assist!

I'll take a wide open J-Rich corner 3 at 24 seconds if we can get it

why
hes hit 2-8 on 4-12 shooting, jarred collins prob got a better chance to hit it
Wide open corner 3 on a behind the back from Nash?

i actually prefer this
I’ve seen them in pressure situations with 3 or less minutes to go and trying to milk the clock…most of the time it doesn’t turn out too well for the suns offense
wow 17 offence rebounds to the jazz and 21 TO's to suns
How is phoenix actually winning lol
I think Jared Dudley...
…has been giving the rest of the Suns “athletic hands” training. Seth, can you confirm that post-game?

Ha...
…I’ve never been a STAT fan at all. Couldn’t stand the fella but his play, the way he’s handled himself, his attitude and his overall contribution to the team has won me over.
I’m still interested to see how he is when things aren’t going our way but for now, I will bathe in the same STAT sunshine that you do.
Ronnie Price is retarded.
shoulda just held it.
whats happened to our benches production?
Our benches production seems to of dropped off abit as of late, it used to be that our bench was almost offering more production than the starters sometimes.
Is it just because the starters did there job so well today or should i say amare did his job so so so good today
The jazz announcers are actually good to listen to.
They’re not obviously biased…wait…wait…oh there it is, Jerry Sloan being a bellend again. SHOCKER.
Pointless end to the game. Well done Grant Hill.
This was over around the 2 min mark
I hate it when they want to make it appear closer than it seems.
I’m glad that Grant fouled him. It shows that he cares and is focused. Ronnie is the one who should have just held on to it.
Good win. We missed a ton of threes, only 35%? We controlled the entire game and never let them get it back into single digits. Amar’e dominated. Lopez played great. The Jazz did miss a lot of lay-ups, but we also contested a lot of their lay-ups as evident by the 10 blocks. The only thing I’m disappointed in is the 23 turnovers. I thought we were too sloppy, but somehow we won. In fact the score looks closer than it should be. We DOMINATED the Jazz. We did the last two games as well; just not in the 4rth quarter. We can beat these guys in a playoff series. Now lets just get that 4rth seed.
jazz announcers are so dumb
on grant hill’s last play: “You just don’t do that…in a situation like that you just let him get the two points…Grant’s been in the league a long time but…”
Umm…how about…NO. If you are down by 12 points with 5 seconds left and are so worried about your already-maligned wrist, then I think it would be better for you NOT to attempt a meaninglessly heroic layup at the buzzer against one of the better, most competitive players in the West. Yeah, I’m talking to you Ronnie Price.
I see tonight’s game as one thing and one thing only: A Message. The Suns (mainly the starters) are sending a message to the Jazz that if they meet in the playoffs, the Suns will go full throttle and compete for 48 minutes. This is not D’Antoni’s SSOL team. This team is tougher, meaner, enforcer-er, and perhaps even smarter.
Amare, RoLo, Grant, thank you for getting the message out: THESE SUNS ARE TOUGH.
p.s. I find it sweetly appropriate that we asked our Suns to play hard, play tough, and compete for 48 minutes tonight, and Grant goes and embodies all of that by contesting a shot at the buzzer.
not only was price trying to lay it up
He was trying to dunk it hard and grant wouldn’t have any of it. I’m also very glad that he blocked the shit out of it and actually don’t think there was a foul.
Truth
Anybody think Sloan gets suspended for that little altercation at the end?
It looked pretty clear that he said “get out of my face” after/as he pushed the ref away.
