I'm gonna say it now regarding the playoff standings.

I only care about home court if we match up with the jazz in the first round. Otherwise I believe we’ll be okay.

And I only want to face Denver, Utah or San An in the first round.

this is his best year as a sun. his offensive beastliness is as good/better than ever, and the defense, professionalism, and leadership are all the best they have been. now that we have lopez playing well, extending amare makes even more sense.

and to all those who say “lets wait and see how he plays when things arent going so well” i just have this to say: maybe amare IS the reason things are going well.

J-Rich is our ticket to the next big superstar (potential) to help the team post-Nash. his 14-mill expiring should be very attractive to teams at the trade deadline next year. The suns will FINALLY be in position to deal from major strength, if they want.

I've been trying to find the other Amare on Foyle dunk for about 40 minutes now

The one where he went up with TWO hands and dunked it over Foyle, hung on the rim…I think it was during the same game. I’ve seen it on youtube before but now all I can find is that dunk that you posted.

Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."

Marion has a slight edge still, but yea, in the past couple years Marion has really gone down hill. still a good player though.

by Beavis 25 on Mar 22, 2010 10:59 PM MST up reply actions

ok you mean, like, today? yeah maybe

and Grant was better in his healthy prime too. But all those years in between, marion was one of the best in the league (just never better than 3rd best on Suns)

maybe for there careers but marion belongs in a suns uniform in this system

he just fits in here better then he could anywhere else and I still miss him. I like hills leadership but not much can beat the matrixes versatility and defense and I know you guys still remember when nash would lob him a pass at the rim his dunks are way better then j-rich’s off of alleys

yet Duds makes more game-changing key plays

like the “simple” fouling of Ellis at the end, forcing only 2 free throws.

Marion is the one ill never forget he was so dedicated to the franchise even though he wasnt ever the man. Marion Amare and Nash could win 50 games in there sleep

Come to think of it...

If the game wasn’t this close, the dunk wouldn’t be so great

by paulimer on Mar 23, 2010 12:10 AM MST up reply actions

That's what I'm sayin!

It was amazing in the context of the game. Complete momentum shift. But as a free-standing dunk, wasn’t his top 3 IMO.
