JASON HART!

Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."

Suns are playing insane offense right now.

They either need to tighten up their D or continue to shoot the lights out.

Jazz are shooting 39% and 44% from three. Is our defense good or are they just missing shots?

I actually think the problem is turnovers and letting the Jazz kill us on the offensive glass...Hard to win like that

We are

Going a LITTLE crazy…Dragic is good but Rondo is a second-tier superstar. He’s like the reincarnation of Jason Kidd but far more athletic.

Crazy schedule note.

This is the Suns’ 64th game of the year tonight. No other team in the NBA has played more than 62, and a handful has played as few as 58.

In other words, the old guys are going to get a bit more of a breather down the stretch.

Made a good point about the playoff seeding…You want to be either the 2nd, 3rd, 6th, or 7th seed to avoid the Lakers in the playoffs till the conference finals…So we need to either get into Terminator mode and win like crazy or go Snoop Dogg mode and just chill…

I get that. But Amare won’t sign for just 2 extra (3 total). And the Suns dont want to got 5 (or 6 total).

I think a compromise at 3yr extension (4 total) is good for both sides. He really is a unique talent.

What would each team's fortunes be...

If Boozer played for the Suns and Amare played for the Jazz….

Thoughts anyone?

Would we still have Marion? Would we have built a different team…Would the Jazz have won a championship? Would Amare’s career be different without the training staff of Phoenix?

But...

Marion left BECAUSE of Amare prettty much…Who’s to say Boozer and him didn’t mesh better and he stayed? playing with Steve Nash cures a lot of chemistry problems and I just don’t think Boozer can be as bad as everyone says after playing with Sloan all of these years pretty much blemish free.

It's not the past

It’s a hypothetical. If two players who have similar numbers but different styles of played on different teams. Why do we even have history class? Ah, the civil war who cares IT WAS IN THE PAST. Ahhh, no one learns from the past silly.

That is

something that had no chance of happening….Just interesting…Two players on contract years heading into free agency who had similar careers and similar things said about them…I wasn’t trying to respark trade talks, contract extensions or anything like that.

Someone brought up the fact earlier how do you think Charlotte felt about giving up Kobe for nothing and no one freaked out over that. Just move on and read another post if you don’t feel like contributing to it.

I don't think they dominated for 3Q.

I think the same mistakes that plagued them the first 3 quarters weren’t masked by hot shooting in the 4th. They turned the ball over, gave up O-Rebs and missed free throws all game long. They just happened to be shooting 60+% at the time.

This is what happens when you play your 4th game in 5 nights, and the other team is rested..

We just ran out of steam, and you can’t defend if you’re tired.

You can blame Alvin, a little, for not playing Earl more in the 1st & 2nd, and not playing Collins, to give our starters more rest, especially since we didn’t have Goran or LB.

But truth be told, this is one of those games that the NBA head offices gimmes to a team. Nothing more.

but I really thought this team turned a corner…Thought all of those big lead dropping days were behind us. We dominated Denver through and through…It’s alright though, we get like five days off after Indiana and get to get our asses handed to us by the Lakers, get two easy ones in Minnesota and N.O. then get a shot at Utah again. I’ll say this in our favor, though… If the Jazz had played last night, and traveled to Phoenix, we’d have beaten them.

We were on cruise control until the last 8 minutes, and then ran out of gas.

everyone but the Thunder and the Blazers scare me

Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."
