Charles Sparkley and the Suns Smoke the Spurs with 4-to-0 Skunk

Charles Sparkley, a seldom used reserve was crucial to the recent Phoenix Suns sweep of the San Antonio Spurs.  Sparkley made his presence known in 2010 playoffs on April 20th vs. Portland as he blazed past defenders with lower lung capacity and took hits on defense.  Often checking in with 4:20 remaining in the quarter, he provides a spark of the bench by replacing Steve Hash.  In tandem with Amare Starta'Fire, Sparkley repeatedly employed the Stuff, Stuff, Pass strategy by bogarting rebounds and torching competition with a hot hand.  The Spurs tried to counter by bringing Tony Sparker off the bench, but his reaction time was slowed by chronic injuries that led to the 4-0 skunk.  (photos c. chavez game 1 vs. Spurs/etsy.com)
