Sign and Trade Details: Stoudemire, Lebron and Bosh


Here's some details about the sign and trades for the top free agents changing teams...

 

Stoudemire

The Suns have completed a sign-and-trade that sends Amare stoudemire to the Knicks.  In return, the Suns get a $16.5 million trade exception and a conditional second-round draft pick (which they may never actually receive). - Paul Coro

      Additionally, The Phoenix Suns announced Friday that the club has acquired forward Hakim Warrick in a sign-and-trade deal with the Chicago BullsThe Bulls receive the Suns' second-round pick in 2011 for the Pennsylvania native, who signed a four-year contract.

Lebron

The Cavaliers received from the Heat by sending James to South Florida in exchange a $14.5 million salary cap exception and four draft choices ( two first-round and two second-round picks) along with the option to swap firsts in 2012.

Bosh

The Raptors, though, have held firm all week on their determination to participate in a Bosh sign-and-trade only if they have to take back draft picks, while also creating a large trade exception through Bosh's departure. - ESPN

For Bosh, the Raptors received the first round draft pick they originally traded to Miami in a deal involving Jermaine O’Neal, a first-round draft pick next year and a $16 million trade exception that allows them to acquire a player up to that amount of salary without having to trade anyone.

 

Hmmm..   Which team of a 'max player' got the best deal for his team?  One of these things is not like the other.
