Suns were interested in making a trade with Cleveland for Telfair and West
Suns supposedly had some interest in Telfair, but didn't really want to part with anyone just to waive D-West.

But as Sam Amico points out, they didn't want to give anyone up just to waive West. The Suns really wanted Telfair. Why? I have no clue, would this mean that they were unimpressed with Reynolds?
