Warrick can be an 18-20 ppg guy....

Hey guys,

I've been a member for quite some time, but this is my first post. I really enjoy reading this site and all the posts that everyone makes, but with all that's gone on the last couple of days, I had to put in my 2 cents. A lot of people (not necessarily on BSOTS) are panicking about losing Amare and signing Warrick as his replacement. I have to say, I was quite pleased with how the Suns reacted and the speed of which they reacted once they knew Amare was gone. It kind of reminded me of when the Cardinals lost Rolle and quickly traded for Kerry Rhodes to replace him. I think Warrick is a perfect player for this system. I'm not saying he's going to be Amare, but who is? Amare was/is the best scoring PF in the game today. But I do think that he can be very serviceable and in this system with Nash and the other talent we have, he can easily be an 18 point, 7-10 rebound per game guy. Heck, I wanted the Suns to trade for this guy a few years ago when he was still with the Grizzlies after watching him play a few times. Although, back then, I thought he would be the perfect SF compliment to Amare, not replacing him! Nonetheless, I think we are going to be just fine next year. Remember when Amare went down with micro fracture and everyone thought we were finished? All we did was make it the the WCF and lose to Dallas only because we had no bench and the starters were completely worn out. I don't know, but I have faith in Alvin and think the Suns will be just fine. Warrick will surprise plenty of people with the highlights he will have in a Suns uniform. What do you guys think?
