NY media and basketball fans seem to be so thankful that the Knicks actually snared a free agent that I have yet to see one negative comment other then Amare might get in injured in a few seasons.  Even Amare's trash talk on Mike D has been dismissed.  The idea that Amare might be the only quality FA to sign with NYK doesn't seem to bother anybody because it is still an upgrade over David Lee.  Ironically, if the Suns could somehow pull a miracle S&T for Lee, Suns fans would be thankful.

After the love fest dies down I am curious how long it will take for the vengeful, blood sucking NY media to turn their microscope upon Amare's troubled mother.  Suns' fans are all well aware of the constant trouble she found herself in for various drug and alcohol issues. Perhaps the people in the "greatest city in the world" will view this as something that has made Amare stronger and actually give him and Carrie Mae some privacy?  Muahahhaaha, yeah right!
