Yes, this is a trade idea. You know that one day you were bored and where thinking about trade possibilities for the Suns, and couldn't keep them to yourself. Yes, I know there have been about 10 fanposts dedicated to bad trade ideas, but I think this one is reasonable, so please hear me out.
With the addition of Childress and Warrick, we are really deep, but our starting lineup is a bit week. Our SF is turning 38, and our PF is not physical, and not really a PF. It seems that Clark is a guy who doesn't want to try to improve his game, and I think with the addition of Childress and the drafting of Lawal, the Suns FO has lost faith in Clark. I believe Lawal has more upside than Clark, so I would like to give Lawal more minutes than Clark, but since we have other issues to fix, it could be fixed by a trade, and still make us deep.
Yeah, I know 95% of you on this blog love JRich, and what he did for us in the playoffs, but we have guys who can take his place, and he is making 14.4 million currently. New Orleans just made a trade for Ariza, which should make Paul happier, but with an a apparently unhappy Paul in New Orleans, and with David West only having 1 year left on his contract, they may make a trade. So here is my idea;
New Orleans Receives
C - Lopez 27min, Frye 17min
PF - West 31min, Hill n/a, Lawal 14min
SF - Turkoglu 29min, Hill 16min, Dudley 14min
SG - Thorton 26min, Childress 18min
PG - Nash 28mins, Dragic 22min
and if Hill retires in 1 seasons, we would have more minutes to allocate. Do you guys like it?
