Why we should have faith for the new year
The difference between winning the championship and barely making the playoffs is pretty small. Last year, we swept San Antonio out of the second round. This year, they have the best record at 29-4 and are looking pretty unstoppable. They have basically the same team. They are doing better because Ginobili and Parker are playing the best ball of their careers and Richard Jefferson has found his stroke. They could fall off at any time. We have the best offense in the league. If we can play even decent defense, we have a chance to win every single night. Let's hope our boys play D like they did against Detroit, and we have a chance to go very far!

I agree with that, Matrix. I’m just saying that it’s very possible. A lot of teams are exceeding expectations this year or underwhelming. The NBA is a very good league, despite what the idiot Lebron thinks, and the differences between most of the teams is very small. It wouldn’t take much to get on a run and do something, like we proved last year.

Wow, I only wish! We’ve missed the playoffs a few times. Ain’t got a chip to show for it tho.
I’ve been more skeptical however, based on NBA upset statistics… it’s not much like march madness. I actually feel like the gap is much wider than we give credit for, that we’ve never been as close as we’ve thought we were.
