Okay. Breathe in, breathe out.
This is a absolutely a low point, but it’s not the end of the world nor the end of the season.
There’s still a lot of basketball to be played, and there’s no reason to think that the ship can’t be righted.
We’re not a championship contender, but there’s still a good chance to get the eighth seed or higher.
We’ve still got Nash, we’ve still got Hill. We’re still working in new players, guys that have only been on the team for seven games.
Just keep watching and see these guys come back from this loss stronger than ever.

I am all for moving on to the “bright side” at some point but you are making the move too soon.
This team, with the current set of standards, SUCKS! They take bad shots, rely too much on the three don’t hustle for rebounds and have, apprarenly, NO offensive or defensive scheme worth speaking of!
How can you POSSBILY want to MOVE ON to the good stuff so early? This team needs a WAKE UP CALL big time and I for one am not going to pat them on the back and give them a lollie until they get up there and earn their massive salaries.

They are pretty much trashing last years team to work in the new comers. Hollinger after the trade, and given how pietrus was playing expected Pietrus to just get benched. I felt from the outset the Suns were overplaying these guys at the expense of the rest of the guys, and you can see at the end of the game, that we have, a bunch of guys who are new to the system and not quite ready/confident enough to really deliver. I keep saying I liked the way we were playing after the trade before the new guys arrived, and when we were using the old team and working with a short bench, and did not expect this kind of massive turn over of minutes to the Orlando guys.
At the same time, a lot of guys just stop hitting shots at the same time. Dragic feels like he is in a season long slump, and Channing has become ignored and is now in a bad slump as well. If you throw in dudley and Hill with a bad night, you are going to really struggle, but you have to wonder why Pietrus is in their at the end over Dudley.
This is a tough one after a string of tough ones, but I don’t think we get out of this by playing Pietrus 35 mins, with very little time for Frye and dudley.
I don't know why Gentry play Frye or Warrick more when the"wing at pf" strategy
was failing. We let Fransisco Garcia get 11 rebounds while Cousins killed us in the paint because Gortat was the only big on the floor(at least in the last minutes of the game)

didn't see the whole game..
but the board decimation says ya we needed to play a bit bigger, and you sometimes need to just keep Frye in there to let him work out of his slump.
of course, when we are struggling to hit shots we are going to really have a tough time winning the game. You could feel with about 6 mins left that there 3 or 4 possessions in a row where we had open easy shots and failed to hit them, that at some point we weren’t going to be able to win with defence only.
I just don’t know where we stand. It really feels like Frye has been a big part of our success over time, but now that there is Gortat, if Frye is not hitting he’s out. And while I see the logic, without Frye, and having already lost so many of last years pieces, we aren’t even really ourselves anymore, and there seems to be a major struggle for an identity.
Im really, really angry about this win.
Trust me. Im probably even more angry then a lot of you.
But im in no way even thinking about not being a fan of this team. Im not done.
If every time a team had a bad year their fans left, how would they make it through?

No. Grant Hill played PF, not Pietrus and when he was hitting those shots in the last two games he was a hero. Go figure.
Anyway, there were a lot of people THRILLED with the trade when it went down, I some other people (me) said something about it sacrificing this season because you can’t trade 25% of your team and not take a step back.
When it comes down to it, this game was about the Kings hitting some big shots late and the Suns shooters completely sucking. If it were some other time in the season it wouldn’t be a big deal, but coming when it does it’s worse.
Btw, anyone missing Hedo or Jason’s clutch late shooting?

It’s strange. I mean I really was expecting a win against the worst team in the league right after the win against the Pistons. I guess I can’t expect anything with this team anymore. I’m not surprised either. I’m not that upset either. <strong

Basically, They’re being benched because the front office doesn’t want trade merchandise getting injured. That’s right, folks at home, eating comfort food in front of your computer screen, I suspect that the Suns are far from done trading this year. I think that they’ll bundle Warrick and Chillz with RoLo for a good power forward.
REASONS:
1: The front office know SOMETHING. All of us have been screaming for a pf since Amare’ left; when they didn’t get a pf in the Rich trade, I immediately knew something else was going down
2: DEFENSE!!! Warrick has been a defensive liability, and J-Chill and RoLo are OK on D, but they need something better, getting rid of Warrick may be great for this team’s defense, because it gets a good defender to help out, in exchange for the liability
3: Rotation! The rotation has been a giant sloppy mess lately, and getting rid of three guys in exchance for, say, 1, can help tighten the rotation and decrease the log jam at the 2 and 3
I’m thinking of this happening and I like it. Think about it for a couple of seconds before calling about RoLo rocking and just not reading the rest: I think that this could really help the team if they got someone like Green, or Smith, or Blatche.

This team is in bad shape. All of the above for this team, from the management who constructed this mess, to Gentry who out thinking himself and to the players for an inconsistent effort.

losing these games are going to make the suns better. they would have never started working on defense so hard if they had won these. they are working out the kinks now. losing will make you a better team if you focus on why your losing and get better. it doesnt happen in one or two games.

So what a game.
That Cousins 3 point play was essentially the clincher. Well, this was a tough loss. But we always knew Sacramento is better offensively than the Pistons. We got schooled and just slipped up at the 4th. Keep those chins up. I swear, everyone is far too antsy. As long as Nash and Hill are here, you can’t give up.

He’s playing out of his mind right now, but there is absolutely no good reason for me to believe that his knees aren’t going to give out at some point in these upcoming 5 years. And lets not forget about his eye, as well.

Well, you can believe it one way or another. I would have kept him for the first 2-3 years. That’s all Nash and Grant really have to compete. Sarver didn’t though and he’s screwed up so far because he’s yet to get a decent replacement. He got lucky with Diaw in 06. I need him to go out there and find a real PF.

Yes, but nothing will until Sarver goes out there and finds a decent replacement. In 06 we at least had Diaw and that made Amar’e forgettable. Warrick isn’t going to cut it. Neither will Frye or Pietrus.

They aren’t PFs. They have the game of a SG and SF. They shoot threes. They’re out there to space the floor. We need a PF that can grab some rebounds(doesn’t have to be a lot), play at least decent defense and score in the paint.
