Weeping May Endure For a Night...But Joy Cometh in the Morning...

Howdy all,
The night the Suns lost to the Kings was probably the first time in several years that I actually got a upset after a game...Admittedly it was a tough loss. While I pride myself in being mostly positive, I kinda let my emotions get the best of me at the end of the game thread. Posted a few things I probably shouldn't have said, so please forgive me and blame it on the T-Bird...

After I recovered quickly, I realized that in the grand scheme of things, this is but one game....My reflection on the game led me to think of all the highs and lows I have endured with the Phoenix Suns in my nearly 30 years of watching this team. There have been quite a few good games and a few bad games. Do the bad experiences hurt? Sure they do..but, this is but one of the many experiences that a fan must endure. If it was always easy, what would be the point...?

I am sure last night seemed especially bleak to many of the Suns fans that have only been around during the Steve Nash era. Surely on the surface, it doesn't look good--The Suns are 14-18, heading in the wrong direction,  and the team would not appear to be gaining chemistry correctly....For many, it seems like the darkest they have ever seen this team.  Take a deep breath and trust me on this one...it isn't..

Therefore, I feel it is my duty as a decades-long Suns fan to encourage as many BSOTSers for the next few days as possible...Sure, there were some tears shed last night, but a better and brighter day is ahead. Even today, I am sure many feel a whole lot better than last night after some decent sleep and a little perspective--in the whole of life, what does a game loss (even to the Sacremento Kings) compare to say, the loss of a home...a job...or a (perish the thought) loved one...? Not much, I'm afraid..

So let's be true fans and endure this current situation...It will get better and we'll be enjoying those good times just as much as we are despairing during these(not so good) times. It is what real fans do..we stick with it through thick or thin...(If Clips Nation can survive all they have been through, so can we..)  I am just glad as a Suns fan we have had so many more good times than bad...Embrace our heritage and all it entails whether pleasant or not...

Your tears will be dried up and your anger will fade....Joy is coming fellow BSOTSers...it is coming....
