Fantasy : Is it better to trade Gortat for Chris Bosh?
Just have a read through some posts, and it was notice that many concern whether we get enough fire power this season..
so this just hit me, the Heat main weakness is not getting a true Center at the heart of defense where Bosh is blamed for too soft as a center (much like Amare?)
so will it be beneficial for both teams to trade Gortat for Bosh?
Heat will get the inside presence they want and Bosh seem suitable to play alongside Nash just like Amare did and he is the star we need:)

I could see Bosh crying over a trade like this and then playing like crap for us. I personally am not a Bosh fan whatsoever. I would much rather have Gortat over Bosh. Bosh seems like a spoiled little kid who wants to get his way, while Gortat is going to give it 100% every night and hustle his ass off.
The other thing is we soon won’t have Nash. Looking forward I would rather continue to build and develop around Gortat than Bosh. Maybe that’s just me though.

Agreed. Gortat is younger too. The only way I’d even consider anything like this is if Fropez was really good.

No
Bosh is not a go-to scorer. If we traded for him it means we want to win a championship and even with Bosh I don’t see that happening. Considering the upcoming draft is PF heavy and has good PFs even in the late first round I don’t think this is a good trade.
Hell No!

No
and the biggest reason for me is that Gortat really does appreciate finally being able to start and working his butt off to prove he’s good.
I hate "Red Sox Nation"
Someday, Gortat will be seen as the only player who can even slow DHoward even a little...
And he’ll be coveted as the #2 center in the league! East Coast teams will be lining up trades like crazy to try to pry him from our hands to stop the Brooklyn Nets from three-peating.
The Knicks will offer Stoudemire and Chandler, and a #1 pick— and we’ll smile and say, “No!”

The Lakers will offer Kareem Abdul-Jabar's clone
The Bobcats will offer Michael Jordan’s left foot.
The Celtics will offer 10 kegs of beer.
The Jazz will offer Louis Armstrong.
The Nets will offer a pirated version of Jay-Z’s new album.
The Heat will offer all the leftover taxpayer money that the Marlins forgot to spend.
And we’ll say, “No!”.

Or the deal is off the table.

I want his Hitler-stache
seriously, that thing has GOT to GO!
Voted most likely to say "I told you so"
I'm going to go against the grain and say that I would trade Gortat for Bosh
I like Marcin a heck of a lot more, but I think Bosh is a better player.
Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."
Heck no
Hed screw up out cap space plus the trade woulsnt make us better. it would keep us the same but might boost the heat to a championship. Although I doubt the heat would trade bosh. They made it all the way to the finals on their first year without hardley trying. Why would they change anything.
Final verdict: poop trade

If it does Happen...
We lose Gortart and one more guy…
But next season the presence of Bosh might persuade Dwight Howard to join in, and we have a formidable front court of Howard + Bosh..
However as many had said, it wont happen..:)
LOL Howard would not be enticed by Bosh whatsoever
Trading Gortat for a bum like Bosh would a horrible decision….but completely in line with a lot of the moves we’ve made during Sarver’s reign.
