Basically NJ is trading Brook Lopez straight up for Howard and Houston is getting screwed by giving up Scola and Martin for Warrick and Childress’s contracts. The only team that would even dream of doing this trade would be New Jersey. Dumb. just dumb.
Houston gets 0.
I think we would should trade Nash, however this trade will not fly. No one is going to take Lopez at this point. Broken bones in the feet hurt.

1st of all the Suns won’t trade Nash unless its to a conteder team
2nd Orlando would give away Dwight and JNelson only to get back Brook and Nash
3rd Houston will never trade their top 2 players for 2nd strings…No way.

but would be a kick in the balls to 1. separate hill and Nash 2. trade Nash to a non contender.
Houston DOESN'T want to Rebuild
Houston just wants to acquire a Superstar player which is why they were trying to get Gasol.
In my mind I think Houston was stupid for making that trade and are lucky it didn’t go through. I love Gasol but I’d honestly rather have Scola/Martin…Even with Martin’s injury history.
If Martin stays healthy, Lowry improves as a passer, and either Budinger or Williams step up then The Rockets could make a deep playoff run with The Spurs, Mavs, and Lakers all getting another year older. I especially like the signing of Samuel Dalembert. Dude is one of the best defensive big man in the business who will give you 10/10/2/50%FG/70FT

I tend to agree, but supposedly if they had made that trade, they were getting Nene. So it’s really Gasol and Nene vs Martin, Scola, Dalembert. So it’s hard to say.

Nene gasol. Plus any other FA agent guards you can sign with the rest of your capspace(crawford,young,thorton,whoever that was still around at the time)
