Sorry this is late, but better late than never.

Game isn't that exciting to me - no one plays defense. And we Suns fans are defense snobs, of course.

Rec for making me literally L.O.L.

And actually, I don’t find them that exciting…
I just love how it doesn’t matter who wins! It’s just a time to celebrate and appreciate the game of basketball. And I eat that kind of stuff up.

It's not as good as the MLB all-star game

But is better than the Pro Bowl.

by Scott Howard on Feb 20, 2011 8:50 PM MST up reply actions

so here is the classic irony...

or is it the short sightedness of the NBA player. (or is it just Melo?)

blackmail the team that you want to really play for, so that sign you sooner (as a trade, rather than as a free agent which would be much better for your ultimate team) and insure for yourself MUCH bigger dollars but while doing so, insure that the team is much worse as they have to give away half the team to get you…

thereby making the ultimate act of selfishness which insures that the team is bad but that you get the ball more to insure you have better stats??

Just sayin…

I have a very fond spot in my heart for that series.

We discovered them just when my oldest was learning to read. I read the first 2 books to her and her sisters, then she’s read all of them on her own since. The same with the middle one. By the time my youngest hit that stage, it was all about Twilight.

a teenage girl going against her better judgment and just doing whatever for some man (whos a VAMPIRE) because she thinks she’s in love with him.
So essentially, give up your own life and dreams for a dangerous man.
What a horrible role model and example for teenage girls.

People ask me why I know so much.

And my answer is always, “I read.”

Even people at school will ask me how I know so much about basketball and the Suns. It’s simple; It’s not like I have special powers.
I read books, I read articles online, I keep up with NBA news.

I don’t get why people don’t understand how important it is to just read.
It sounds so corny but seriously, knowledge really is power.

Well I'm sort of late here

But it’s nice to see the players actually try in this game, unlike the NFL Pro Bowl.

LeBron with a triple-double?

Wow.

maybe he should be MVP lol

Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."

Durant has to be at least co-MVP.

by troglodytes on Feb 20, 2011 9:31 PM MST reply actions

Kobe's going to get more votes.

Simply because of all the Bieber fans, since Bieber says Kobe is his favorite.

Woah, a celebrity who's a Lakers fan?

That never happens!

Seriously, why can’t Justin Bieber stay loyal to his home country, and be a Raptors fan or something?

by Skii on Feb 20, 2011 9:33 PM MST up reply actions

Or be a Steve Nash fan.

Nice!

I’ve never understood why there aren’t any celebrity Clippers fans. I mean, they’re still L.A., right?

That fact shows you that they’re all bandwagon fans.

by Skii on Feb 20, 2011 9:35 PM MST up reply actions

Quick question

You know how David Spade is always at these Lakers games? Wasn’t he a Phoenix native?

by Skii on Feb 20, 2011 9:37 PM MST up reply actions

Yeah

He graduated from Scottsdale Saguaro High School. What a traitor.

by Handsome Bert on Feb 22, 2011 10:59 AM MST up reply actions

If I lived in L.A. I would totally be a Clippers fan.

1. Just because
and
2. They have Blake Griffin. And he is a man.

Did you hear when they compared him to Nash during the Celeb game? Such a disgrace

Bieber fans truly are nuts.

They defaced Esperanza Spalding’s wiki page because she won the Grammy for best new artist over him.

When they grow up, I hope they look back and realize how stupid they were.

why the heck is Jay-Z wearing sunglasses indoors

unless you have a condition there’s really no excuse for that

He's a rapper

They do that sort of thing all the time.

by Skii on Feb 20, 2011 9:33 PM MST up reply actions

What if someone misspells

The person they want to win the MVP award in their text to 38657? Does it still count?

by Skii on Feb 20, 2011 9:32 PM MST reply actions

This BBVA commercial is all about assists and teamwork.

And they don’t put Steve Nash in it once.
That’s offensive.

They need to cancel to fan voting for one year

And give the award to someone besides Kobe Bryant.

by Skii on Feb 20, 2011 9:34 PM MST reply actions

D-Wade won it last year.

I know

But I’m angry Steve Nash didn’t win it this year. Because I’m angry he didn’t make it this year.

by Skii on Feb 20, 2011 9:36 PM MST up reply actions

It does make me sad.

It also feels weird that Shaq wasn't there either.

No Shaq trying to crossover somebody for laughs…

It’s strange without either Shaq or Nash in the ASG.

Of course.

Also, his team is most relevant. Almost all of them are current players.

Yeah he even said it himself

He was saying how he chose mostly current players cause kids today wouldn’t know who Chamberlain, Ewing, or Dr. J
