I understand he is clutch late game. (If the Lakers had even an average pg I think they wouldn't be in as many of these late game situations.)However, his defense cannot be anything more than average and he has the least assists of any starting point guard and he is among the bottom in regards to assists of any PG playing 20 minutes or more. He barely scores too. He's not even shooting 40% from the field. I also understand he is a leader, but he should be their assistant coach not starting point guard. In tonight's loss Derek Fisher played 46 minutes. He shot 0/7 from the field and 0/2 from the 3 pt line. He scored his only 2 points from the charity stripe. He had 3 rebounds and only 2 assists. He did have 4 steals and a block though.
