Thank you otis smith,orlando magic
Thoughts on trade now that both teams season is over.
Now that the magic have been shown the door by the hawks and the season has closed for the big december trade participants, Heres what the teams have to show going forward.First we will discount the free agents,J-rich,Earl clark and that guy with the beard we all love to hate.Orlando has hedo for a few more years and many millons of dollars. We have MP at one more year at a shade over 5 million and marcin gortat for several years at a cap friendly rate.I dont know about you guys but I will take marcin over hedo any day.It boils down to the magic IMO just giving us gortat for the right to get knocked out in round one and probably angering dwight howard right out of o-town.So on behalf of suns fans thank you orlando, Its nice to be on the other end of the transaction shaft for once

I wouldn't mind having him back. I know he's lost a lot of athleticism, but if we could get him for about 5-6mil that'd be great.
Don't trade Dudley!
Assuming you're talking about J-Rich and not the Gasoline Soaked one..
I’d definitely want him back. I’m guessing his price range is closer to 9-10 mil though.
Re-sign BAMF.
He did hockey for a while
That’s why he had those quads…
Arenas for Lewis seemed to hurt the Magic more
Because Arenas did not work out well at all. Trading Hedo or Arenas seems impossible at this point.
If only the Suns could have kept Jrich and slid into that 8th spot vs. Spurs…
kidding
We’d still be kidding ourselves that we are any good with 38 yr old Grant Hill and Nash and the gang.
The team just isn’t athletic enough, tall enough and talented enough to compete in the west anymore. It started with selling off our draft picks and young talent. Then losing an impact player like Amare for nothing hurts and then replacing him with scrubs doesn’t cut it.
And those scrubs that got signed into long contracts....
I can see the Suns selling or including their future draft pick/s again for any team that would absorb the contract/s of Warrick/Childress. Hopefully, I’m wrong.
I don't care who starts anymore...
Hill and Nash still play amazing ball
I actually think a lockout shortened season would help the Suns since they still depend on Nash.
Hill helped the team much more then he held them back and held his own guarding the best players in the league. If the rest of the team had his skill set then the Suns would be contenders.

no reason
Yeah like how there was no reason to include the extra draft pick we gave houston to take Brooks off their hands for Triple Double Machine Dragon Dragic. Only reason was to save a couple bucks on a draft pick ridiciculos a pick is an asset not a thing to toss away.
Oh well, go suns.
Dragic had 1 triple double this season
The last game of the season, a meaningless garbage time game. Nice try though.
Who cares about a late first rounder? It was worth the risk. They could easily get another if they want to buy one for 3 million. The Suns haven’t drafted well in many years so I don’t get my hopes up.
If the Suns could somehow get Derrick Williams from UofA that would be amazing and put them on the right path. Come on ping pong balls!
