The Mavericks will try to take a 2-0 lead at home tonight, after Dirk Nowitzki's outstanding 48 point effort led them to victory Tuesday. Kevin Durant had 40 points of his own, but was overshadowed by Nowitzki's incredible shooting performance. It's highly doubtful either can replicate that performance tonight and, for the sake of the viewers' enjoyment, let's hope that the teams won't combine to shoot 79 FTs like they did Tuesday.
- The folks at Mavs Moneyball detail the historical significance of Nowitzki's game 1.
- The Thunder need better production from Russell Westbrook, who shot 3-15 in game 1, and Durant says he "would bet my (his) whole house" that they'll get it tonight.
Tonight's Game: Thunder at Mavs, 6PM PDT, ESPN. Mavs lead series 1-0.
