2012-2013 Suns starting point guard?
I could be totally 100% wrong a year from now but I have a feeling. This is based off of little bits of information Ive heard the past year. I for some reason have this gut feeling that Deron Williams will be our point guard for the Suns once he becomes a free agent. Here is some information (very little) that makes me feel this way. I heard and read news stories the past year and if anyone can back me up on or where i might have read or heard this info it might help my case. Plus some other reasons i feel this will happen.
1. Williams did not like the lack of freedom he had with the offensive system in Utah-Gentry and the Suns will give him total freedom as we do Nash.
2. Williams currently does not like playing for New Jersey. I dont think it fits him a lot of fans besides New Jersey see it as a kind of awkward relationship. And I dont think Dwill finds it as the right fit.
3. Williams has to look at the Suns past. Yes no titles but huge success with star point guards. KJ, Kidd, Nash. We all know including Dwill that we would build a contender if he came here.
4. My gut feeling (its kinda like a sixth sense) I look at it and it seems to fit.
Now to explain myself. Dwill isnt even my favorite PG . Its Cris Paul but it doesn't fit or make sense. If you just look at Dwill and imagine him in a Suns uniform its like a 100 piece puzzle coming together. Im not hoping or praying Dwill lands in PHX this is just based on my feelings and believing that his destiny lies in Purple and Orange.
I know its weird but if anyone else has the gut feeling I do and understand where im coming from please respond.

#22…. ZABIAN DOWDEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Grant Hill: where making MVPs look like wannabes happens.
Are you implying that Dowdell will play next to Williams at the SG position?
Dayum, Dowdell must be putting in a lot of work in the gym to improve that jumper of his.
More like our starting point guard.
Who needs Williams when you have Dowdell? Right…?

"Maybe I’m old school," Nash said, "but I signed a contract to play here and I want to honor it. I feel like I owe it to my teammates and the city and everybody to keep battling until they tell me it’s time to go." STEVE (God of Basketball) NASH
Excellent argument.

I'm more sure that Nash will be our starting PG in 2012-13
Unless he himself is willing to pull a KJ and backup an upcoming Hall of Famer late in his career. I can see our FO pursuing D-Will and Dwight Howard next summer while dealing the double double machine in Gortat for a 3rd piece to build that superstar team. Still, not sure whether Nash is willing to do that and I’m not even certain that our own FO would do that to their franchise player. KJ may have been a big part of the Suns franchise, but he wasn’t the face of it like Nash is. Plus, by the time Kidd came, Johnson was a shell of his former self.
Don't trade Dudley!
What makes you think Dwill is any different than Nash??
And even more, i think Nash is the perfect fit to our system, its like ok we are going to trade a halfstar PG for a superstar PG, that wont take us far, now if you bring Amare and Dwill with the roster we have right now. now we talking
Do not let Steve Nash and Grant Hill go away, please.
Otherwhise im not buying any tickets from you Saver.
This is for next season.
D-Will and Steve will both be free agents. Steve will be almost 40, and Deron will still be young.

He looks pretty nice for a Scoring Point Guard, but i believe we have that..
However he needs to grow as a passer, he is way to small to be a SG.
Do not let Steve Nash and Grant Hill go away, please.

Huh?
He’s a 6’4" 195 lb SG. He could probably put on a few pounds of muscle, but he has decent height for a SG.

Hear me out
We know Nash is perfect for our system, but Nash IS our system. When Nash leaves I don’t know about Gentry’s future or our system’s future. We know our system wins games, but not championships.
