Just read it on Gazeta.pl, a Polish leading newspaper. The article says: Gortat will play this fall, already in September, for a team in the Polish basketball league. The club will not disclose any details. More info on Monday.
Lol and that's it. No info which team it is, for how long he will play there, how the insurance matter has been settled, no reaction from Gortat, nothing.
It sounds like non-sense to me, but Gazeta.pl is a reliable newspaper (their reporter Lukasz Ceglinski visited Phoenix and talked to Seth Pollack) and they put it on the front page as exclusive a few moments ago. But which team from the Polish league would be able to pay him enough money to pay for the insurance and his salary?
Gortat refused to play for the Polish team at the European Championships next month because of the insurance problem and yet he will play for a league team? Get ready for another Gortat scandal if this news turns out to be true.
Perhaps there will be more news in the morning, I'll keep you up to date.
