But why?
I look at this board often rarely contribute because post get over looked since I'm not a writing major or ride your fan post every time a bsots regular post but last time I posted I pleaded for a simple tyson chandler for Ben Wallace trade instead we paid the guy to go home and well you know the rest chandler has a ring with the mavs who play a similar brand of ball got their first ship .. Now it's time to rebuild we have no future . Nash rotting away while some of you still hope for a playoff run some kind of hope but why? by making the 8th seed getting bounced in the first round and getting stuck with yet another shitty pick. I love suns basketball we been spoiled but it's time we suck for luck .. You know what I mean we need a top 5 pick to entice some of these big name free agents that we probably have no real chance of signing . We were never good enough to win it all ( which is very debatable) but never bad enough to get a top pick. I for 1 am tired of mediocrity tired of fighting a loosing cause . It's time we trade Nash which should have happened before last season suck the rest of the season and cross our fingers our front office aka Robert Sarver woRks some kind of magic dispite himself and we luck out with another young stud ala amare which we should have never let go but that's a different story . I guess I just want to know why some of you keep pushing for the 8th seed? I need hope I need something to help me believe that I will live long enough to see the championship parade come through down town and another 33-33 season is not going to do anything but set us back another year! I love Nash but he deserves to go out on a winning note and we deserve a little hope !

Three words for this...
Paragraphs. Capitilazation. Punctuation.
STAT may be gone but the Suns will rise....! BTW, If positivity is a crime, I plead guilty by reason of T-Bird...!

Good Point
I found it hard to read much of this and actually had to force myself

I'm with you on capitalization, puncuation...
But paragraphs may be a glitch in the system for fan posting. I’ve had trouble with that too.

Oops. That was an accident.
What I meant to say was…
Here’s a thought -
If the Suns suck as is, wouldn’t you rather have a good chance in the lottery AND have Steve Nash making it bearable for the rest of the season? I know I’d rather watch Steve do his thing and still suck than suck a little bit harder for what, a late first round pick and money?
Steve’s trade window has closed. Trading him now makes little sense if you ask me.
I lurk.
Yea we cant get anything good for him.
contenders won’t trade away any of their stars for nash because they must keep what stars they have to contend. that’s why they’re called contenders. Houston doesnt want nash and neither does portland. Their were smart amd kept their draft picks or only made smart trades. Stop making this sounds like nash’s fault. Its the ownership and front office. So idk how u expect them to turn it around when they have a history of sucking dick in regards to player and personal aquiring

I'm sick of our so-called fans rooting for the team to suck...
We’ve had some excellent years of entertaining basketball.
Maybe it’s over or maybe we can reload.
Maybe the new guys will get it and we’ll go on a run. Or maybe we won’t.
But the uncertainty of it all is what makes it fun to be a Suns fan.
If winning a chip means so damn much to you, go root for Miami.
I’d rather watch Steve finish out the greatest career in team history and retire as one of us.

Here's the problem with that statement
But the uncertainty of it all is what makes it fun to be a Suns fan.
What are you looking forward to?
There is nothing uncertain about this statement: “The Suns cannot make a meaningful playoff run.” The only “uncertain” thing about this season is whether Steve Nash’s mighty powers elevate the Suns to a first-round playoff sweep at the hands of the #1 seed and doom the Suns to another mid-first round pick. Is that the uncertainty that you relish in and look forward to?
We had this argument, on this board, with the Marion-Shaq trade: I was then, and will remain, a Suns’ fan that has toiled for decades without a title. In a Machiavellian/Marxist sort of way, I want what is best for the organization, and am not wed to any “style” of basketball or any particular player — other than the “championship” style of player.
The Miami reference is a straw-man argument, because winning a chip for the Suns is the goal.
Free Steve Nash!
I appreciate the feedback an opinions once we got past the punctuation ..
@suns68 I can respect that , but I’m not a fair weather fan if I joined the heat bandwagon I would be becoming Wat I hate about lakers fan .. Born and raised suns fan since a youngn I bleed purple and orange and that won’t change even if we have 10 bad seasons in a row ..
Nash will not ask for a trade his rep would take a big hit the perception he has acquired for his loyalty is great because it’s true, he’s a great player and even better person but in his heart he can’t be happy how this will end. And we should not let it end that way
Also i Never said trade Nash for a star that would never happen I’m not stupid and totally agree with the front office aka Robert Sarver being worthless how else would you explain not paying amare but then turning around an over paying hedo and Childress .
But the reality is we don’t have a player to build around , I like Morris for once it looks like we have Lucked out on a twin but a nice top 5 pick with Morris may help land a big name we have all this money to spend coming up but not many players you can or would want to spend on ..
And Thats Real!!
