can’t believe I just said that

Yea i know. I did want Hedo to stay last season. It is our dumb system forcing him in the PF that was dumb.

On the bright side, we locked them down defensively in the second
And by locked them down I mean “didn’t let them score 40”.

I really hope Gentry doesn´t play more Nash, ship him to the next city right away so he can rest
roses are red violets are blue, Michael Redd is coming for you!
Bulls starters without Rose, shooting 26-36 for the half
that is over 70%.. that is absolute putrid defence, on what would have to be a below average offence with Rose out. Didn’t see much of the game but from what I have seen, this lloks like a team that has completely quit.
But think that we are making them believe they are great scorers and then they´ll face the Sixers and lose, that´s the plan

Trying to be a bit objective here, and park the anger at watching a team that is so weak...
Overall, this looks like an ok team that kind of hit a perfect storm of injuries combined with frickin ice cold shooting to end up with a few losses they shouldn’t have. and as I kind of feared the poor play has now snow balled into a situation of zero confidence and poor intensity…hard to watch.
Bulls are going to exceed their season average of scoring by around 25-3 points, without Rose.
Guys we just gotta hang in there...
Looks like maybe the players have overlooked this one…Maybe they’ll be ready for tommorrow…

This is getting to the point where
even when we beat someone im going to roll my eyes, like the suns are a girlfriend who always cheats on me and then starts being really nice because she feels bad.
i told my cavs friends last year they had a better chance to make the playoffs this year than my suns
they all laughed at me
we had a good run guys.
most teams don’t stay relevant as long as the suns did. it had to come to this eventually.
And then there's the Lakers
Joe Saunders: "They Giants played a really good game, so hats off to us"
They've had like 5 superstars
And the Lakers have only missed the Playoffs 5 times since joining the league, or something like that.
This is their strategy to winning: Get superstar, win Finals bunch of times, and when superstar gets old, get new superstar, and repeat.

Yikes
I checked into to see whether this game was worth watching, but holy cow. We can’t even compete with a Roseless Bulls team.
No offence to some of our role players, but I think it’s safe to say that the all the Phoenix Suns really are is Nash and Gortat. That’s just not enough. Both those guys are borderline all-stars. They need a lot more help than Dudley, Frye and Morris.
Don't trade Dudley!
And the only possible way this team will ever win
Is if we get Howard and Williams. Which 95% probably won’t happen.
So to make a short story shorter, we got screwed by the FO big time post-Amare.

I know it wasn't the most popular thing at the time but I really wish the Suns would have done a sign trade swap of Amare for David Lee instead of that trade exception.

Letter that Charles Barkley sent to Bill Lambieer through a ballboy during the 89-90 season....Moments later, Barkley and Lambieer got into a fist fight.
lol, totally dude
But I don’t know if they were in the driver seat. The Knicks liked the Warrior deal better and Sarver wasn’t going to give Amar’e a contract anyway. It’s not like he could have said, “Give us Lee or I take back Amar’e.”
Don't trade Dudley!
Yeah, I know...Azubuike never played a game, Randolph was traded for the Wolves for like nothing if I remember correctly and Turiaf hardly ever played...
Still…It’s just the one thing we’re missing on this team right now. A guy who can put up 20-10 nightly. Nash and Gortat have basically been the entire offense the past two weeks.

Fuck You.

Randolph got traded for a 1st round pick which they used to get Melo
Yes, I still wanted Lee. I was disappointed when Sarver wouldn’t “overpay” to get him. It’s in the past though.
I give this team one more week and then a trade needs to happen. Not a big one, but a small one. I think Mayo is worth a shot. I wouldn’t be surprised if Gentry doesn’t finish the season either.
Don't trade Dudley!
Is there a spot on the court that if shoot and make it you get 10 points??
We need a few of those if so!

We should start Lopez and Gortat together
and move Frye to the bench.
Voted most likely to say "I told you so"
Frye needs to be benched
I dont care who plays in place of him

That would mean Frye and Lopez played together
off the bench. So no, that shouldn’t happen.

WHAT THE F HAPPENED? (aside from the predictable and obvious)
Carter having a glazed-eyes contest with Boris Diaw. Carter's winning, but Diaw might respond by eating his eyes.
Thanks guys
That was all I needed to read. I looked at the box score and it agrees, definitely murderated

Only 2 players came out and play tonight.
Nash and Gortat. Trade everybody else besides Hill.

I meant. Keep the 2 players that played tonight Nash and Gortat. Trade everybody else for except BAMF.

he is no good no more in my opinion

He will peek in february and remain a constant.
He just needs extra 3 weeks because of the lockout.
He is already playing better on offense.

We sucked at offense.
We sucked at defense.

We tried to play an NBA team
It didn’t work out so well
Steve Nash, the league's MVP, is a longhaired Canadian who spoke out against the war in Iraq and reads The Communist Manifesto. Quentin Richardson declared after a game-winning shot that it "was like Hamlet. It was a suspense thriller, and I killed them at the end." Amare Stoudemire, when asked to comment on a 22-point third quarter against the Kings, said, "I've got a tendency to jump over some guys' heads and throw it down."
I just can't believe we are SO bad that we actually made Carlos Boozer look good...CARLOS BOOZER.

Why didn't the Suns sign Nate Robinson for our back up point guard?
I know the guy sucks on defense but at least the guy can create his own shot. The guy signed a 1 year deal with the Warriors for 1 million and has been pretty damn good this season.
Tonight he put up 17 points/10 assists/2 steals/3-5 3pt and had a plus/minus of +21.

I tell ya
They were fine up until the last 5 minutes of that Laker game. I think they realized that no matter how hard they would try, they weren’t going to be a good team. Even if that’s true, they can’t give up. Just keep trying and the rest falls on the FO.
Don't trade Dudley!
We had a guy like that named Aaron Brooks...
But his dumb ass went to China a week before they ended the lockout
Member of the "Let’s Make FanShots Relevant!" Club
Its funny when we suck so bad, we consider Brooks to be our saviour.
Slumdog Millionaire without the million.
Not our savior but at least the guy can create his own shot and actually get to the hole for an easy lay up.
I don’t think Ronnie Price is a bad player at all but he’s just not what you want in a back up PG.
This season demonstrates how valuable Barbosa was to us when he was healthy. The ability to change the tempo of the game and score in bunches is whats lacking from our guard play.
Dear Bill,
Fuck You.
-Charles
Letter that Charles Barkley sent to Bill Lambieer through a ballboy during the 89-90 season....Moments later, Barkley and Lambieer got into a fist fight.
he is exactly what you look for in your backup PG
just not what we look for.
regular PG’s don’t roam around the court freelancing, they call out plays and execute them.
annd it’s pretty hard when 3 of 4 terammates seem lost on every offensive possession…
he tries to find the best option but what can he do?
most of the time he is bundled on the court with Brown/Hak/Morris and Lopez
none of the 5 has a reliable outside shot from more than 18 feet. when you throw the ball into the post the defense collapses and we end up with an open 3 – and we miss most of those.
so he tries 2 man game inside – turns out both Lopez and Morris are daft on the PnR. We end up with Morris shooting 3’s or fade away’s.
Price is a pretty good PG – it’s just that we cannot look for Nashian plays from him.

deep thoughts with Jim Coughenour. But yeah, this team flat out stunk. The only positives were Nash and Gortat.

I lack profundity, and apparently the Suns do too, even though the bench was supposed to be needed to be a factor this year.
