but he seems like he may be getting close. We’ll know at the end of this season. If he’s still playing great D at the end of the season, he MIGHT have a bit more in the tank for another season. But no way would I sign him for $6m again.
I have to think he will retire after this season no matter what, and that he wants to go out swinging.

they played pretty good defence throughout...
Still gave up a ton of offensive rebs to Chandler which wasn’t fun…and though NY shot awful, they got a ton of miracle 3’s in the last 5 mins to kind of make up for it…
Suns were full measure for the win, from the outset…Still some serious hesitancy, and at key moments getting some terrible/inconsistent play/shooting from key contributors.
Tonight Hak had 3 terrible painful turnovers, and then a huge drive and dunk that was a bit of a game changer…dudley’s shooting was awful, but Robin had some very nice minutes..
Grant’s shooting started terrible but then he had a nice streak at the end of the 3rd period..
and Frye was feeling it, but then got a terrible 4th foul early in the third, when Shannon Brown funneled someone right into the lane…
Brown was another picture of inconsistency, with some great play and then some awful bonehead shots and decisions..
Overall a fun game, where you could feel the Suns were either in control or poised to re-take control when they had a few bad mins….and Nash was sublime, which was great to see, especially in NY.

I think he’s calmed downa bit, not taking every crazy contested shot he sees. Down to 1 of every 2 crazy shots taken.
I think we kind of have to make this move for now. Dudz will rise again. Dudz and Frye off the bench for spark (hopefully) with lopez. One of them will know to find Lopez down low for a change. That guy is really working hard.

Brown seemed much more controlled playing with Nash. I’m still not his biggest fan, but maybe starting him will get the most out of his talent.

And also with Nash he doesn’t have to handle the ball as much so he has less opportunities to make bad decisions.

He’s has no BBall IQ AT ALL. He’s the anti-Marion. Where Matrix used his athletic gifts efficiently and for the teams best, Brown thinks he is a star.

He;s the classic chucker who always thinks he is open, takes (and gets blocked on) 21 foot two pointers, and yet does just enough positive things to make you imagine he is a good player.
On average, I jist don;t think he is, and the number of half-court possessions where no one except Brown touches the rock, or he gets it and dribbles for 7 seconds and shoots, must lead the league.
I don't like him by any means
He is a Laker, first of all. But I just don’t HATE him yet. He does a few good things but he takes some dumb shots haha.

should have at least 2-3 guys who can make a difference deffensively.. The knicks have one on chandler and we have one on hill. every other great team has 2 or 3

That's a nice win.
A great first step to turning this season around. It’s like when a player gets in s shooting slump, sometimes they just have to dunk the ball and “see it go in” to get the feel for making a shot.

Ever since I discovered the awful blog 20 Second Timeout, I’ve grown really, really weary of hearing about how awesome Kobe is. It’s been almost 5 years of the Lakers chasing championships, and I’m tired of it. I’m ready for them to go away and see other teams and fans talking championships. I’m also getting tired of Laker fans licking their chops for Dwight Howard and insisting that anything short of a championship is a failure. You can’t be on top all the time, for God’s sake!

he finally played a really good game, was a catalyst on D and actually made some shots..
but there were others…Nash was sublime, Gortat was solid though he struggled a bit of the defensive side. Price had a few nice mins at the beginning when the suns were establishing their D in the first period.
Frye was better, and lopez had a nice little contribution..
