The Phoenix Suns closed out the preseason with a low-scoring (88-72) win over the Denver Nuggets. The Suns end the preseason with a 4-3 record. Postgame video provided by Valley of the Suns.
Not a bad way to close out the exhibition campaign. Obviously, neither team used their regular season rotations, but it was nice to see Michael Beasley show signs of being the star he can be. 29 points, 10 rebounds in 33 minutes will work -- especially when it comes with an efficient 13-21 shooting.
Beasley didn't get to the line at all and spoke about that in his postgame media availability. He wants to get to the line three or four times per quarter.
The Suns open the regular season at home against the Golden State Warriors on Halloween.
