It took nearly 48 minutes of effort and focus and some smart rotation adjustments to matchup with the Nuggets, but the Suns showed what kind of team they can be with this win over Denver.
You only need to look at the box score to see the balanced scoring effort and we saw how important Markieff Morris is going to be on some nights. Kenneth Faried, who the Suns passed on to draft Morris, was abusing Luis Scola with his athleticism until the Suns second-year power forward came in and match energy with the Manimal.
The Suns still gave up nearly 54 percent shooting, but won the game thanks to winning turnover differential 15-6.
