It's been too long since I disappeared. Some of you may know me, many of you may not. I have not made any comments/blogs in the last few IONS. But I have finally been able to get my priorities somewhat straight.
Life issues later, SUNS issues first.
We (SUNS FAN-a-ticS) have been listening/subjected to a lot of S%^T these last few months. Especially since the departure of MV2.
That story aside, Lakers are currently 0-3, and until they end up with a better record than us, I will deign not to speak about it.
I have been following and watching everything on Bright Side and SUNS Basketball with a keen eye, and I feel we have taken a few steps in the right direction so far.
But today, after the MAGIC game, my belief in our FO was shaken. (NOT Stirred)
Now back to the title of my post. The last 3 games we have seen that the SUNS offense is broken. 3 Games in a row we failed to go beyond a 100 means a LOT to me.
There are no Quick fixes to what ails us, we are who we are. A team of Average players who will exceed expectations with EVERY win.
But 2 things do stand out in what we have seen in the last 3 games.
1) Dudley has disappeared in the last 2 games.
2) The Bench Unit which could / should have been our strength is in RUINS.
Solution - Send Dudley to the bench, Play him starter minutes, maybe be the First Sub of the bench.
Either Brown / Johnson start. I prefer Johnson, Why ???
A) Dragic / Scola / Gortat are willing facilitators. Beasley who was expected to be a Black Hole has done well to defer to others when need be. So, I believe it would be beneficial to the bench and Dudley if he started from there. Dudley is also known to be a willing facilitator and he could once again be the leader of our BENCH MOB.
A LA 2010. (Not Los Angeles)
B) Johnson has the tools to be a good defender. So he adds to the defense and is a decent spot up shooter. All he has to do is Keep moving and Jack a 3 if he's shot with a pass on offense. (Most of the times, Jack a 3)
C) I don't like Brown.
