Our FO has made it VERY clear that we r making some trades before the deadline and are gonna try and contend next year with some good signings.

TRADE DEADLINE:

I think that the best most realistic trade we can do is Rolo and Brown for Odom. (thanks to Wedge1039) This would free up the Mavs' cap space, and would get us a great player who could work in our system. Maybe, we can even squeeze a second rounder out of them for taking Odom off their hands. Odom would be great off the bench for us, or he could start for Frye. We would have a team that can spread the floor well, and Odom would be a quick big man, something we need.

FA:

If we get Odom, we would only have to fill two spots, the SG and the backup C (if we sign Brooks). Through FA we could get Young, or if we get lucky, Gordon. I don't know many good backup centers in FA this year so maybe in the draft we can get a big man.

Draft:

In the draft, we should either get a good SG like Lamb, or we should get a good backup center. Or if we don't sign Brooks, we should get a good PG like Marshall.
